Popular Post sirchunksalot
I walk into work with one of my buddies on the line every morning and he's gracious enough to listen to me talk a lot of golf. Today, he sent me a photo of a scorecard where he played his first ever round. He shot 61 and made par on the third hole. I'm pretty excited for him right now. cnosil, rkj427, Rickp and 7 others
tommc23
My nephew is in with my parents for up to a month and I’m spending part of the weekend with them. His autism makes understanding him tough but every time he spends a prolonged period with my mom his speech improves so I’m looking forward to taking him to my work firehouse and taking him a few places to have fun. Popular Post Shankster
This new driver is amazing… clear upgrade, drove several greens Today on my old track, and it rained buckets last night. Could have had 2 more if it were dry. averaged 285, including the ones severely up hill, long of 323. I’ll take it. juspoole
For the past month or so, I've started to play more tennis. I did not realize how much I missed the sport and being out there. Since having kids, I really put it on the back burner and have hardly played in the past 8 years. The only downfall is that I have not been playing any golf lately. Only so much time. Also, a couple takeaways: 1. My racket is about 12 years old, so I decided to demo a couple rackets. I was not ready for the prices of rackets these days. Some are as much as $279 new. Used to be in the $160 range, but I should not have really been surprised based on price increases on everything else. 2. Just how much better on my elbow, shoulder and wrists the newer rackets are. With the demo's, I had a little to no soreness after playing. Then I went back to my racket for a session and I was hurting the next two days. I did not find a clear winner for new racket, but rather 3 that I thoroughly enjoyed and I was able to find two of those (Head Gravity Pro) on eBay for a great deal so that always makes me happy too! Hopefully they come in decent shape, it was hard to tell exactly how many scratches and scuffs from the pictures. Definitely a few, but that doesn't really bother me as long as the racket still plays fine. I haven't played since our car accident years ago, but I used to string for some ATP players and at the local ATP tournament when it was in town. Back then all demos were strung up with a high quality multifilament string near the middle of the recommended range. That would make a huge difference to someone that was used to playing a poly string. Old strings are also terrible for your arm. I was in a two week restring schedule when I was playing to help avoid elbow problems. juspoole 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811XF Gen 4 w/ Fujikura Motore X F3 6- 3 Wood: PXG 0341XF Gen 4 w/ Mitsubishi Diamana S+ 70g Hybrids: 19 and 22 degree PXG 0317XF Gen 4 w/ Project X Evenflow Riptide 80g Irons: 5-PW PXG 0311P Gen 4 w/ KBS Tour 120 Wedges: Indi 50 FLX, 54 FLX, 58 ATK w/ KBS Wedge 610 (Official Review) Putter: Battle Ready Blackjack, 36.5”, Double Bend neck Spornia SPG-7 hitting net review 2023 Titleist White Box ProV1 review
