My course announced they're opening this Friday. I'm off work next Thursday and Friday so I'm going to book my first round in for Friday 25th.

Helping out for my son’s Coach Pitch team. Pretty good group of kids.  Tonight was the first practice, and most of them didn’t even play tee ball.  Going to be an interesting season.  My son picked it up like a pro, smashed some line drives, and even tagged a kid out at second base on instinct… He’s never played before.  We may have the next athlete in the Shanksfam.  It’s not golf, but I can work with it.

Enjoy it, It’s a lot of fun.  I started “helping” and ended up Coaching for 6 years. Kids are great, parents not so much.

I coached tee ball a few years back, that was pretty fun.  I have a feeling I will be taking over as coach this year.  One of the other assistants already quit because his kid didn’t want to play.

I got roped into being an assistance coach last year... then roped into being a co-director for little sluggers (3-4 year olds) and T-ball (5 and first year 6 year olds).  Now I'm also going to be a head coach this year for both boys (one T-Ball and one Coach Pitch team).  It's going to be a busy Spring, but it's only 2 months, and if it's like last year it will be a lot of fun watching them develop and learn the game!

Loved coaching for my sons little league team when he played. Lots of fun, brought me back to the good old baseball days! baseball wasn't for him  (which is fine because he loves golf) so he stopped.....Might have to jump in with @GolfSpy_BOSto get my baseball itch scratched

I loved baseball too, right up until my cousin (all star pitcher) in high school threw me a ball, (I was maybe in 5th grade)… broke through my glove and hit me right in the mouth, putting my teeth through my bottom lip… needless to say I was a bit fun shy after that.  Baseball was my jam, he ruined it for me.

It is funny because I swear you learn to catch after getting hit by a ball....maybe not at that age though lol....remember to much then.

It was tight.  I’m guessing he did it on purpose.  Him and his brothers were always trying to inflict pain.  Probably 85+ mph ball…

That's like how I tell people I just met that I'm a former first round draft pick in baseball, then I walk away before I have to tell them that it was the Little League draft when they were picking kids who were in T-Ball at the time.

Been working out since last October pretty diligently except for the time I was remodeling our Kitchen. Went to PGA Superstore today for a couple of additional 9" golf shorts. Pretty happy that I was able to fit into the 32" without sucking in my stomach! Heck of a surprise especially since I went home after and weighed myself - 165 lbs. Haven't been at that number since high school.
