Good morning everyone, already at the end of my week after getting Monday off, so a quick 3 day week. Family is heading of for a fun filed day on Friday and then having family over for the weekend. Also have a round scheduled for Saturday so that should be great. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good morning MGSpies from a summer day WNY style that includes partly to mostly cloudy skies, warm temps with humidity, not so chilly overnight and short sleeve and shorts days  hot coffee jump starting the morning as computers come online for the zero commute Thursday edition and possibly a cameo for community call today with a 4:10 tee time.  Month is coming to a head with vehicle inspection due, vehicle needs tires, tomorrow is payday, golf trip to Chautauqua on Monday, inspection Tuesday, and so on and so forth.  Hope everything is falling well into line for your commitments and golf is a part of your day  everyday.

And Jason @sirchunksalot, community call is today.  Hope to see everyone there

Late start here on the forum due to waiting for a large data system update to complete before I could take some time from work to post.

Community call later today and I am hoping to join for a while from work.

Good morning all! It's been a busy week for me so far. Finishing up my grad class, finalizing things for the wedding, and youth basketball camp. Today is the last day of camp and then I'm headed to the golf course for 18 holes. It's supposed to be a beautiful day, so I'm excited to get out and play. I hope everyone else has a great day and can find some time to get out and play! Happy Thursday!

Good morning from somewhere near Sandusky, OH.  We are a little more than 1/2 way through the drive to the Chicago area moving my kid out there.  Good weather and uneventful driving has made it a good trip so far.  Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!  Working half a day before heading to the course for a member-guest tournament in the afternoon.  Excited for the golf, less excited about breaking out my sport coat for the post round dinner in the club house.  I don't think I've worn that thing in 5 years!

Good morning MGS'ers! Today is a new day and I am over my pitiful performance on the range yesterday. With advice from some fellow forum members, I found a drill to work on for the time being to help with improving my takeaway. I am only going to work on that until it feels normal, and then move to another aspect of the swing. I had too much running through my head all at once and it got the best of me yesterday. Short day of work today and then we are taking the boys to a waterpark over in Wisconsin Dells this afternoon with another couple who has kids around the same age as our boys, should be a great time. 

Half day of work tomorrow and I am thinking I may try to squeeze in a visit to my chiropractor if he's got a random opening. My lower back has been feeling jammed up the last couple weeks, and I always feel like a million bucks when I leave his office. Might not get any golf in over the weekend as it is supposed to be very warm by our standards up north here, and I've got some work to do with cutting down two dead trees Saturday morning and helping a couple friends split wood Sunday morning. They helped me with my big painting project a few months ago, so this is my repayment to them. Both jobs will be early in the morning so that we don't have to work in too much heat. If I can sneak out for an evening round or two, or get on the range, I will be doing that. We will see how it goes and what SWMBO has to say about it all

Kamloops Senior tournament is in the books, I am going to say "one that got away" I had 16 par and 2 bogeys yesterday to shoot 74. could not sink a putt, honestly could not get the ball in hole from outside 5 feet. 

12 fairways, 12 greens, 34 putts.

I was 5 over for the tournament and the winner was even par, and congratulations to him as he did well and won which we all know is very difficult.

The green complexes were "bent" grass and a little grainy, I didnt grow up on bent, grew up on Poa annu, and am still playing on Poa, so need to figure out how to putt better on that surface. 

I finished tied for 5th in this event, tied for 8th in Kelowna Senior but am arriving home today feeling not great about my putting performance, the rest of the game was fine, actually above average for me, soo back to work I go, curses lol...

The next couple of weeks I will be gaming my Takomo 301MB irons and looking forward to getting the feel of them. Beautiful clubs as you all know by now.

It's a nice Central Florida Morning, 78 degrees.  Just got back from 4 mile walk. No golf this morning, had a good range session last night, then worked out some kinks with putting.  Now having a 2nd cup of coffee & working from home today!

Morning Spies! Another day at the office. Ended up having to bail last minute for league yesterday as my wife came down with something. Was at least able to sub in my brother-in-law on short notice so nobody got left hanging. Things were much simpler before kids

Good Morning everyone!!  A beautiful sunny day today; 57º now headed to 86º but the high temps are coming back this weekend.  I'm taking the next two days off golf swings.  My back is unusually sore with a new back pain along my ribs; where did that come from?!  I've got company today... yesterday my wife played in her Ladies League and apparently pulled something in her back.  One of the ladies in her group did something during her swing on #10 and she hit her ball into the driving range... I've never seen her hit into the left rough, let alone the range on the other side of the rough.  After coffee this morning, she went back to bed.  Hopefully, we will be able to play on Saturday.

What a change a day makes, huh? ..long string of really nice late Spring days and now this stormy extended weather pattern has moved into my area.....

So golfing may be on hold for a bit (Yes. I am a fair weather wuss.). But there's still the garage net and the orange whips and the basement putting mat ("Obsessed with the game" you say ) .. and also the final round of the US Open on DVR while I exercise.

Plus I need to get in a little more work on the write-up for my driver review!

The rub-on sticks can be very helpful! Plus I've also gotten quite fond  of the big chain drugstore equivalents of Voltarin.

Got two versions of the rub-on, gummies, and spray.  Also have the prescription strength Voltaren.

Good morning and happy Friday everyone! It's a cool, foggy morning here and hopefully the recent rain is moving out for a couple of days. 

I'm planning on going out after work to spend a little time on the putting green to try to work out some kinks and reestablish some feels with a larger putter grip.

I’m just catching up on the forum.  Lots happening!

I am happy to be in spoiled golfer heaven during my family golf reunion.  Today will be day 4 of 6 golfing in Central Indiana with my brother and 4 cousins. It’s been wonderful.  Great weather and the guys love the courses.  We play Prairie View (Carmel, IN) today, Purgatory (Noblesville, IN) Sunday, and everyone is geared up (get it?) to play The Brickyard on Saturday.

We took 5 first-timers to St. Elmo’s Steakhouse last night, including our 85 yo uncle, who had a blast.  It’s always fun to watch novices fail to heed the warnings about the freshly cut horseradish in the cocktail sauce.  Eyes watering.  Coughing. “Holy S***!”  Thinking Pizza King tonight.  (The fam has lots of history and roots in and around Muncie IN and it’s a staple there.  IYKYK.)

My game has been up and down, but overall much improved over last year.  I had a strong 43-39-82 round on Wednesday, which included my first birdie on the personal nemesis hole after a 100 yard wedge shot which spun back 5’ to leave me this 4’ putt. I hope that dagger in the beast hole’s heart will force it to continue to submit, but I doubt it.
 

Feeling very grateful for this time with family. Thanks for listening.
 

Oh, FWIW the new FJ Hyperflex Carbon shoes have been fantastically comfortable and stable.  Thank you to MGS for the annual shoe test and recommendation!

Good morning MGSpies from a gloomy gonna be inclement weather Friday in WNY with hot coffee  making everything seem just right for the last zero commute day of the week.  Missed the community call yesterday afternoon trying to get everything orchestrated before tee-off that seemed to work as regular partner helped me to see his perspective for my game improvement that is remarkable to him but glacier slow to me.  Golf will be Forum until Monday with the things that must be done, so hoping golf is a part of your day

Good morning spies and happy Friday! It's a nice 62° this morning but will heat up quickly to a high of 91°. Not much going on today, however, I'm getting my first ever golf lesson! I'm excited to see what the pro has to say and how they can help my game. My driver hasn't been consistent and I've continued to have troubles with club face control at impact. Hoping to straighten that out today and work on it this weekend. I hope everyone has a great Friday and marches happily into the weekend. Cheers!

Good morning Spies on my zero commute, woking what I hope is a 1/2 day from home. Been at it a while to try to make sure that I get all I need to have completed finished by noon. Cloudy, dreary, and light sprinkles, but with a 2:00PM tee-time, I am hoping for the best.

SWMBO's birthday is tomorrow, so will be getting together for dinner later with her family which lives close later this evening.
