Good Morning All, 

Happy Father’s Day to all who observe it. To those that don’t, may it be a peaceful and pleasant Sunday. This afternoon, the girls and I are walking a round at the local muni, and I am excited. We did this earlier in the spring, so it will be fun to see their progress. We’ll finish the day with a cookout with Dad and rooting for Rickie to breakthrough! Have a great Sunday!

Happy Fathers Day to all you dads out there.  
No bigger or better role in life for us.  I am a grandfather too now and get the best of two generations.  Hug them and tell them how much you love them and are how proud you are to be their Dad.  You can never say that enough and they can never hear it enough.

I'm just a dog dad so old poochie and I took a slow, short walk earlier while it was still a bit cooler. Nice temp today but warming up quickly in the sun. 

A little golf later this afternoon .. after catching up on some forum threads!

Our oldest Gkid is 21 in 2 weeks, who knows how long until next generation.

Good morning Spy's, 

I played a Nicklaus designed course yesterday, big fairways nice greens, gamed my Takomo 301MB's. I think I was a bit tired from 2 tournament days and hit some sloppy shots.

I am still trying to get used to the lighter shafts in the clubs, can't quite feel where the clubhead is so blocking some right of the target, not releasing the face properly. the longer irons 4-5 are giving me a bit of a challenge, not confident in where the club face is at contact. so all in all not a great ball striking day, the shorter irons are getting better every time out. 

Having said this it doesn't surprise me in the least, the quality of the Takomo's are unsurpassed, it is the change in shaft and shaft weight that I am working on. Will it take a while, for sure, am I patient enough to figure them out, absolutely, I love the clubs...

My best shot was 165 yd. par 3 downhill, hit my 155 carry club (6 iron) on the button, landed about 5 yards before the flag and stopped about 6 feet from the hole, started to build muscle memory from shots like that...

Playing another course today, looking forward to that...

Good morning and happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! I’m playing this afternoon with my dad at the country club which is our normal Father’s Day ritual. I played yesterday and shot pretty fair. Would have been a great round if I only played 14 holes lol! We are playing early in the afternoon so we can get back to the house and watch the leaders play their 18 in LA! As an OSU alum it’s great to see Rickie up top and another Cowboy (Clark) right behind. I’m bagging my RF Cobra wedge today for good luck. Have a day!

Good morning spies and happy father’s day to the dads out there. Played a round of sunrise golf this morning and still made it home in time for omelets for breakfast. Wife had them ready when I walked in the door so I was unable to make pancakes today.  

Heading out the door here in a few minutes to go see my dad and then the afternoon will consist of F1, US Open, and working on putting.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! It’s going to be a pretty lazy Sunday around here, with a chance of storms in the forecast. If it holds off, we may head out later and play some.

It’s been a great weekend so far with lots of golf. It’s a state holiday tomorrow, so it’s an extended weekend with hopefully another full day of golf tomorrow.

Happy Father's Day!  I hope all our Fathers have a fantastic day today.  I've got everything fixed for dinner here. Just waiting on the ribs now!

Grandsons spent the night so they could tell Papa happy father's day first thing!

Nothing else planned today but relaxing with family.   Unless I can convince my shaggy grandson to let me hive him a trim.

If you are golfing with family today or just hanging together I hope you truly enjoy the time together!  Life is too short!

Hang in there!  Know that all us Spies are thinking of you! I'd like to say they get easier but really you just get accustomed to them.  My dad has been far too long - 1996.

Congrats on the new job. Any tips for the sand? I’m not as good with my Edison 2.0 as I was with my previous wedge out of the sand. But it’s definitely better with full shots.

Thanks! And definitely, I've been playing Terry's wedges since 2012. Had SCOR, Hogan, then original Edison, now Edison 2.0 haha. I equate the magic in them to the magic in LAB putters, they just flat out do what they're supposed to and make it easy to do so.

Thank you! I don't wanna hijack the thread but if you shoot me a message I'll get some details and hopefully get ya hitting better out of the sand. In my three rounds with these I've only had one sand shot and it was kinda wet so I popped out pretty easily, still waiting to try them in fluffier bunkers.

Good morning MGSpies borrowing Hayes' current time zone for an exception to the rule, PGA HOPE Session 3 of 6 at Southern Meadows GC in the books on a brilliantly sunny Fathers Day 2023. 

Son talked to me on the phone the whole drive home as he was driving from his RIT apartment to converge on the driveway arriving almost at the same time - we have had long phone calls before but never for entire trips between Rochester and Buffalo.  Cookout at the in-laws later today but a few things to take care of in the between, hope golf is a part of your day  and all the best to my fellows who have, and continue to nurture little people (and those no longer so little) in the world

GM & Happy Monday!!  Off to a 7:00am tee time after coffee & muffin.  
Watched the end of the Open so congratulations to Wyndham Clark.   Tough finish for Rory , Rickie & Scottie but they didn’t make the shots or putt.  
Anyway looking forward to the Travelers next weekend, played and volunteered there for many years.

Good morning spies and happy Monday! Up to do some school work this morning and then off to coach a youth basketball camp. Planning on heading to the range after the camp to get dialed in for this week. League tomorrow and Thursday and a lesson on Friday. Need my game to get in good shape for the end of the spring league. Hoping to go out and post some low scores. I hope the day is a good one for all! Cheers!

Happy Monday everybody!

Played 9 yesterday afternoon and darnitall kinda feeling a few sore muscles today.... Does that mean I swung well, or badly..? Hah it was some of both .. aka g-o-l-f!

So a little morning relaxing time, then maybe a few not too strenuous home and yard projects.
