The Good Morning Thread

Finally mowed the lawn today for the first time in almost a month. All of the rain that we received over the weekend took the yards in my neighborhood from 90% brown to 90% green as well as “need to mow” tall. Pretty crazy how quickly Mother Nature can turn things around.

I think I’ll go do some putting now…

She spent 90 minutes getting scanned in a machine and hopefully we'll find out of her gallbladder is bad.

As far as my morning I was pumped to see the Mizuno Long game test announcement! Really looking forward to bringing in some fellow family members for my lonely Mizuno Irons. I already have so much to put in the write up including a first ever for me during the fitting!

Several years ago I had the chance to attend The Barclays at Bethpage Black - clearly a popular event, especially when Tiger was still playing!! Despite that, surprisingly easy to get around and get to good viewing points -- as long as you're willing to walk a bit!

I hope the tests came out ok. My wife had to have hers taken out years ago. I remember the pain she was in before the removal.

Hopefully we'll get the results sooner rather than later. She's had digestive problems for a while, it hasn't gotten to full blown pain but she has a bit of discomfort. 

Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes for my wife, it means a lot to us. I tell her about them and I can tell she's moved buy all the positive support from y'all.

Bethpage great place to watch golf.  Been there twice USOPEN and even got to play Black and was humiliated.

Good morning everyone and Happy Hump Day! We're halfway through the week!

Not much going on so far, just getting ready to head in to work. I'm hoping to leave work early today and play golf. I put in PTO yesterday but my supervisor was in class and didn't approve the request. I was the first to put one in, so if I don't get it I'm not going to be happy.

Other than that, its starting out to be a good day. My coffee is warm and I'm just catching up to all the activity on the forum.

Good morning Spies on this "hump day" from the smoky, not too good to breathe the air skies of Michigan. Seems the Canadian fires smoke has made it's way south here, and supposed to be here until Thursday PM. The Rocket Mortgage Classis festivities such as the Pro-Am get started today. The tournament location is not too far from my work location, as both are near the heart of the city. Make your day the best it can be, no matter what is on the agenda!

Yeah, it was rough here In Milwaukee yesterday and I can still taste it today I hope it goes away by tomorrow morning I would like to play some golf! maybe take the kids up to Sentry link for the Senior Open

Good morning from a much less smokey day Here in WI. It is strange to see smoke on the forecast, I thought I was dreaming when I asked my Google assistant the weather and it said "64 and smoke" I thought maybe Snoop Dogg was going to come around the corner! Oh well, hope the fires get put out soon! I would like to golf and take y kids outside!

Mornin’ everyone! Been up since about 4. Our baby girl is not having the best sleep lately. Which selfishly is more of an adjustment for me and the wife than it is for her considering she’s been sleeping through the night since we brought her home. 
 

position night is tonight for my league and we are currently sitting in 4th playing the 3rd place team. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can get it in.

Good morning, Spies!

it’s a smoky morning here in Indy also.  Nuts.  Already at work, and the coffee is already made.  Hitting it hard early before conducting a few interviews and hopefully (fingers crossed - work progress dependent) getting out for 18 late afternoon.  
 

I U-turned and followed a fire truck into our neighborhood at 5 am this morning, only for it to stop at one of our best friends’ homes and watched the firemen rush in.  Thankfully it was just a faulty CO detector setting off the alarm.  That sort of thing - the worry - makes you appreciate how good we have it, yeah?  It’s like last week when I was cursing a bad golf shot and the lifeline helicopter flew over the course.  Perspective.  
 

@sirchunksalot Jason I hope your wife is totally fine and feels better ASAP.  I know you are lifting her up through this.

Dropping my truck off to have a nail pulled and repaired on my tire before we haul off next week to Florida. Luckily it’s big tread and sidewalk so didn’t touch the inner line just a quick pull in fill. 

Then off to work for a fun filled day at what is nothing other than a circus these days. Also known as facilities management

Good morning.  The storms last evening cancelled the league play.  Skies look clear and its supposed to be cooler today.  @Rickp sounds like its time to make a call to the putter bullpen to give yourself a different look over the ball?!?  Sometimes that works for me.

Morning Spies! 66 and overcast this morning, chance of light rain all day with a couple of tstorm windows mixed in. Hoping everything holds off for the Scramble I'm playing in today.

On vacation thru the 4th starting today. Will be getting some range and launch monitor time in for my review!

Thanks to Canada it's pretty bad in the big mitten too.  Yesterday morning stepped outside to tend to something and I couldn't believe it, I actually could smell the smoke from our Northern neighbors.  It's nuts I say, nuts!   Here is a Southfield MI tower cam, and the picture really doesn't give the best indicator of the crappy quality.  An indoors day for many....yuck!
