Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning spies! I managed to pass out pretty early last night after a long day of watching the Masters and drinking cocktails. But of course even though I got 9 hours of sleep I'm still pretty exhausted. I'd like to propose making Monday after the Masters a national holiday as well @TJ Hall! Back to reality today. Work week hopefully shouldn't be too crazy. Hoping to sneak out to the sim or the driving range after work at least a couple times. Weather should be decent to start the week, but looks like it might get colder towards the weekend. Maybe I'll get lucky and that'll change so I can play next weekend. Sad that the Masters is over, but we already have another signature event this week at the RBC Heritage. Before we know it, the PGA Championship will be here! I hope everyone has a great start to their week! Popular Post MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, Had a nice weekend with friends but feeling a bit under the weather today. My wife had an appointment with a wound care specialist this morning. We are grateful that she was referred there by one of her swim friends who is a surgeon. Her primary care NP was out of her element and now she is getting specialist care. But she will be out of swimming for 14 weeks. I feel so bad for her. Those of us on the forum are addicted golf and she is addicted to swimming. I sold my old clubs on Saturday at Mike's Golf Outlet. Made some pretty good coin so I ordered my first Rhoback polo and used the NLU 20% off discount code. Wishing all a wonderful day! Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning All, Weekend was rather uneventful. The wind was crazy Friday and Saturday. I did by a new stand bag that also is able to go on a golf cart as well. My stand bag I had either got stolen or fell off the truck on our move up from Virginia Beach. That was a bummer coming to that realization. I mowed our lawn, but I may have to replace a tire on the lawnmower cause it was flat when I went out to mow yesterday. It did hold air while mowing so may be able to get by with patching it…tbd on that. The sad part, we lost 3 chicks this weekend. Two were due to not getting them Corid, which is for coccidiosis, in time. We didn’t have any left so I had to run and get some. The first one was just laying in the main container with the others. The other two that it affected I got them out and separated from the others. One passed away yesterday while I was out mowing. The other was doing good and I had to get new water and food and turned the heat lamp off last night. This morning when we woke up he was shivering and barely peeping. I’m beating myself up for not remembering to turn the heat lamp back on. That was my fault and feel absolutely terrible for that. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it, it was hovering in the 135/80 range the last few times I've gone to the doctor and it seems like an abnormality to be as high as it is, so I know there is a chance of it dropping. We have a monitor at the house and I've been keeping an eye on it and will continue to. Thanks Chris! Best of luck with that today! 6 hours ago, sirchunksalot said: @Cfhandyman that is freaking exciting, you know we'll all want every detail. Have fun at TXG! Back from my fitting at TXG (Tour Experience Golf – Club Champion Canada) with the man himself, Ian Fraser. All I can say is what an awesome and thoroughly fun experience. He really knows his stuff. Incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much. Best fitting experience I've had so far. It didn't just meet expectations, it far exceeded them. A few observations, in Canada, Tour Experience Golf (TXG), is now rebranded as Club Champion Canada. While the name on the door has changed, everything else from the staff, Foresight launch monitors, Quintic putting monitor, shaft matrix, build shop all remain the same. Ian Fraser is the GM of the Canadian operations. Mike Martysiewicz is the Director of Club building and fitting. Ian and the quality and excellence of his staff remain consistently superb. I know exactly what to expect and what I’m getting when I come to them. A very very happy customer. cksurfdude, William P, ILMgolfnut and 11 others 4 10 Quote Driver: Taylormade Stealth 2 plus, LA golf DJ shaft, 55S 3 wood - TM Stealth plus, Mitsubishi Kai’li.
