There is always high demand for tournaments at Dornoch, and no particular reason to enter early since they do a random draw, but I got my entries in.

Three hours later I get a text from my bank asking if the charge from Royal Dornoch was legit. I answered yes and got the autoreply that my card was okay for further use. Which they wouldn't know about that charge if RDGC hadn't run my card. So maybe I'm in? But my online bank statement doesn't show the 60-pound charge.

I preface my answer with the observation that I have no use for LIV, or Greg Norman, or the Saudis, or anyone who took their money. Especially Phloppin' Phil Mickelson. Have no intention whatsoever of ever watching an LIV event.

My guess is that the level of competition is just not as high on LIV as it is on the Tour, or on DP for that matter. Couple that with all those guys took boatloads of sportswashed cash to be there, and they're just not as competitively sharp as the guys who are on PGA or DP. And we saw that this week. Bryson and Cam Smith were sorta in contention, Niemann and Rahm were mid-pack, Phloppin' and Koepka were almost as bad as Tiger, who was DFL, and five of the LIV guys missed the cut.

I'm riding with you on this one. 👍

Good morning everyone!

It's the Monday after the Masters and I enjoyed getting to watch a bunch of the tournament. I was hoping to see Max or Tommy pull it out, but Scottie is a force of nature right now. I was also impressed with Åberg, that young man looks to be a star in the making.

Gotta go see the doc today about my BP and hopefully get clearance to go back to work.

@Cfhandyman that is freaking exciting, you know we'll all want every detail. Have fun at TXG!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Best of luck today…

I just went to the doctor now I'm in medical trying to get my return to work settled. My BP was still elevated at the doctor and my wife had to advocate for some meds to help with it. It's crazy they don't seem to take this seriously. I realize every time I've been to the doctor it's been good, but c'mon.

Hopefully it'll all get settled before to long.

Hopefully the medical staff isn’t overly concerned with your numbers because they are within whatever range they base it on but will still get some meds for you. I always find it frustrating as well when it seems that the answers are not coming fast enough for what I consider a very big deal health wise. Hopefully you get some answers soon.

Might want to at least consider getting a second opinion. That said; I am hoping that your primary Medico is correct and that your BP is not a significant issue. Take care my friend take care.

It's frustrating to say the least. The doctor at the ER and at primary care are saying that since I haven't had a history of hypertension it's probably an anomaly caused by the vertigo which was probably caused by allergies. I have to go back to the clinic at work tomorrow to see if my BP is down and I can return to work. I just wish they'd quit jerking me around about this.

The lady at the clinic has a horrible bedside manner and was asking me if I knew how to properly take a reading as I was getting a reading and having me answer which I've read is a no no.

I wish they'd either let me go back to work or put me on short term to get out under control.

When I first was diagnosed with HPB, I had no history but it was extremely elevated.   If they don’t want to do meds, there should at least be a series of follow-ups to assess if it is better after the vertigo and allergies have cleared up.

They did give me a prescription for Losartin and hopefully it'll keep the high blood pressure in check, they also prescribed Zyrtec to help clear up the allergies since they were still enflamed.

I just find it weird that a couple of doctors were like "your BP was 180/110... Meh". Lose weight and diet, which I do need to do.

Right now I just want to be able to go back to work without burning up all my time off.

Keep monitoring you BP, if it is really caused by something else you don’t want it to go too low.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it, it was hovering in the 135/80 range the last few times I've gone to the doctor and it seems like an abnormality to be as high as it is, so I know there is a chance of it dropping. We have a monitor at the house and I've been keeping an eye on it and will continue to. Thanks Chris!
