Good Morniing everyone from central Oregon!  Sorry I haven’t been posting lately, but we have very limited internet and it’s running at <1Mbs.  Took 5 minutes just to reload this page!!  I’ve gots lots to post but will do that in a separate thread when I get home.  Two rounds of golf in and three to go!!  Just finished our round yesterday with the clap of thunder and made it to the restaurant/bar before the rain hit.

Coffee is terrible here and we brought our own blend with us… terrible coffee maker!!  If I add more Baileys to it, it’s passable though.

good morning spy's... 1st. day the provincial mid amateur tournament, this tournament has 2 categories, over 25 years of age and over 40 years of age so I am way out of my age group, I do believe by entering it gives me good tournament reps though which is basically why I do it, and I do enjoy competing against the flat bellies... the tournament is being played about 65 miles east of Vancouver BC in an area called Harrison Mills. It is close to my hometown of Mission BC so my sister has been nice enough to let me stay with her... I am currently looking out her window, south at Mt. Baker, over the Fraser River, nice to be home again, it has been a long time... anyway have a great day everyone and I will keep you updated...

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a good start to the morning. I went out and played a few holes last night and it felt really good. Hit the ball better than I have all year. I'm hoping that I continue to hit the ball well and post a good score tonight at league. It's supposed to be 77 and sunny all day here, so it's hard to not have a good day. I hope the day is well for all and the sun shines throughout!

Good Morning Spies! Beautiful Central Florida Morning.  69 degrees at 7am! No golf this morning however, just got back from a 5.4 mile walk. Looking forward to first cup of coffee! Will hit the range this evening!

Good morning MGS'ers! Absolutely beautiful Tuesday on deck today, with highs in the upper 70s and my 2 man scramble league starting! Leaving work at 3 to pick up my oldest, then going to play a warm up 9 at 3:30 before league starts at 5:30. 12 week long league and I have standing tee times at 3:30 each week, so REALLY looking forward to my Tuesdays this summer.

Giving the PX HZRDUS Smoke Blue RDX a spin in my driver for my warm up 9 as I am swinging the club better recently to see how it performs against my MCA Tensei AV Raw White. I have been hitting that well, and it is most likely what will stay in my current driver. IF the RDX starts to perform well, I may get it re-tipped with a Cobra adapter so I can try it in my AJ Max when it comes in for the Cobra Challenge.

I’ll be in a conference room overlooking Bryant Park all day. If it can have a hockey rink in the winter, why not at least a short game practice area in the Spring/Summer?

Good morning Motley Crue,

While I didn't golf yesterday, still a little proud of myself for booking the first ever boys trip for me and my old buddies/teammates from college.  

I love them but I know they wouldn't do it, soI pretty much took on all planning myself.  While the end result is still definitely yet to be seen, I am so excited and hope this kicks off a great tradition for years to come.

Good morning on a weird day in Wisconsin water calls for 80 and sunny till 4 then drop down to 50 for no apparent reason. Work Day making sausage today and jerky. If i get out early i have time to import my rounds in the forum.

GM Y'all !!!!!! Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood -EVERYBODY sing along . Hope everyone has an awesome day with lots of great things, wonderful rounds and/or getting rewarding things accomplished. There- that's my uplifting philosophical rant for the morning!!!!! We've had misting rain/drizzle for the last few days- hopefully it's gonna get better soon so I can work on my swing and correct the terrible thing that was my swing over the weekend. Hope y'all have a great day- Hit 'em straight and make LOTS of birdies!!!!

Top of the mornin'! I woke up to MGS politely telling me I missed the deadline for the intro on the Takomo test, so I had a slight panic, which also means we're closer to seeing the irons in person. The intro is up for all who are interested. BUT the Okanagan is beautifully sunny, 30° everywhere, blue skies, birds chirping and a great cup of coffee. My dog woke up with a limp but being a Bull Terrier, they're literally walking bowling balls. So we will monitor that. We are awaiting confirmation on a house purchase, while also trying to sell or rent our current house. These are also exciting and nervous feelings! Fingers crossed I actually have somewhere to store my clubs

Yes sir it is. 

Bend, Redmond, SunRiver, Sisters, Prineville, are all considered Central. They all have golf courses some better than others. Black Butte is a resort style with 2 golf courses on it. It is just west of Sisters.

That's what I thought; I was born and raised outside of Eugene and not sure what folks consider "central".

Played Pronghorn, Running Y and Sunriver. 

Missed Tetherow though! A lot of great courses around there and that place is exploding in popularity.

Good Morning Folks

 Last baseball game of the season tonight, Behind the plate tonight as well. Looking forward to swapping baseball with golf. I am more in control of golf than I am a High School pitcher, batter, catcher. Took one right on the bicep last night, but you can't hurt steel bwaahaha. who am I kidding it hurt.

Also looking forward to working out again. I haven't been in the gym on any regular basis since February. My endurance shows. 

 

Maybe that's another test idea??

WOW from Eugene to Massachusetts, not sure you can get to much further from home. 

I like Tetherow, couple of decent stories from there.  Pronghorn is nice as well but it does have a couple silly holes like 14 & 15 I think it is. Never heard of Running . 

I have a 4 round tourney coming up the 1st week of June at Sunriver.

Yeah - it's a long way away!

Running Y is in Klamath Falls.. mixed that up. An Arnold Palmer course. If you're ever down that way and get a chance it's a nice track.

I had a blast at Pronghorn. Loved that course.

Update on my range - 

Well the driver is doing a wee bit better for me but I'm still struggling with this driver.  I have a lesson tomorrow and will let you know how I do after that!

Put myself in for testing of those beautiful Callaway Paradym driver!  I'm hoping to get selected. I've always loved Callaway.

I have never liked a driver more since grabbing my Paradym. Highly recommend

Yes, just east of the Cascade Mountains, about halfway between the Columbia River on the Oregon/Washington border and the Oregon/California border.

Good morning everyone! It's a nice morning here in TN and it looks like the storms that were predicted in the area passed us by. We got a severe storm warning around 5 yesterday that mentioned the possibility of high winds and large hail. Fortunately, it didn't hit us and I haven't checked to see if it got any of the surrounding area. I spent a lot of time yesterday thinking about busted windows and dents in all our cars. 

Today should be delivery day for some Cobra clubs, so stay tuned for some photos from the unboxing. I'm really excited about seeing them arrive. I was hoping to get them out tomorrow but right now it's looking like rain is in the forecast so we might be looking at Friday.
