Good Wednesday Morning Spies!  Happy Flag Day! 

Hit the range at 7am this morning, 78 degrees. It was 81 & warm by 9am.  Good range morning, working out some issues.  On third bottle of water LOL & much needed 2nd Cup of coffee!

I was going to take a day off today, but going to hit the range for some more work on my long irons and woods. Couldn't get much going in that department yesterday. I don't think I will hit too many balls, but just try to work on some drills. I did remember my tripod so going to film some swings as well to get some visual feedback. Including a picture of my son and I from our round yesterday. I am date marking each photo to record how many rounds we play together this year. He played really well yesterday which is always so fun to watch.

man oh man, monday I played great, yesterday I had an out of body experience, in a bad way...very disappointing, couldn't get off the tee, iron play was terrible and putter was cold, not a good combination, and was playing a club team match to boot, I got dusted by a really good player from Gorge Vale, a gentleman as well, didn't laugh too hard at my misfortunes... 

Nice thing about sports, today can be better, have a good one...

I hear you, played decent on Monday nothing spectacular but nothing really bad either. Yesterday I couldn't hit an iron shot to save my you know what. Hopefully someone found my swing on the course and turned it in to the club house. If I had to rely on this game for my livelihood I would be a lot thinner than I am now.

Is it paid time off? Good for you but hopefully sucks for whomever was responsible for ordering and securing all the needed parts for production...

Dude walk in there and fire their a@@, take over their job and then you can sit in a comfy chair in an office and get paid more to hang out on the forums all day

Funny because in Europe we call them stones and in NA they call them Rocks. In the official rule book they are also called stones, but in the appendix you can find the word rock and it says please reference plage XXX and there it says a little joke about how they are the same but stones are the true word for them!

Thanks guys! I was able to get all 18 holes on today and had a blast on the course. We did get soaked starting on 12 through 15. We actually didn't keep score on the back due to not being able to hold on to the clubs well and treated those holes as practice.

Sorry to hear about your arthritis.  I probably have arthritic hands... my mom certainly did.  I don't have a bump and the pain comes and goes.  I had it last year for several weeks, then it went away after I moved my thumb around the shaft a little.  I still had the RH grip over the thumb but there wasn't as much pressure on it.  I played that way all winter and this spring; no issues until recently.  Taking a few days off has helped, and I made some full swings today.  I could feel it, but it wasn't as painful.  I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off as well, so we will see how it feels on Saturday.  My hands and wrists are both crap, and likely the biggest reason for lack of distance.

HOW does an assembly plant be OUT of a CRITICAL part??   I guess you will find out who's responsible tomorrow when someone doesn't show up for work.

At least in my industry (Industrial Automation and Controls) supply chain is still a challenge. For some parts our factory is doing global prioritization of every order placed and in a given month only about 20% are getting fulfilled. I can absolutely see how this could happen. Things have been a mess since COVID.

Boy do I know that!  My muni leases Yamaha carts on a 3-year cycle.  We got new carts 6 months after I became a member in 2015.  Three years later we got new carts.  Well, the next 3 years was 2021… no carts.; the driver side seats are trashed because we could only have one person per cart during most of the summer in 2020.  In 2021 the batteries wouldn’t last 18 holes.  Finally got new batteries, but the suspension and tires are shot and parts are falling off.  Yamaha wouldn’t sign a new lease because they couldn’t guarantee delivery.  Rumor has it that we are getting new carts this week… after 5 years!!

We were suppliers to many different industries including automotive and this kind of thing happened rarely.  If it did the company would move heaven and earth to keep the kind moving.  
One incident we had a Purchasing Agent from an automaker forgot to inform us of an increase in their production.  On a Friday morning they called me obviously with their “hair on fire” about a parts shortage and after a conference call I hired a small plane and flew down enough parts to keep them going until Monday.  Cost a fortune but it was their dime.  Because the plane was a charter I flew with the parts down and back, kinda cool flying over New York on a early Saturday morning.

Good morning everyone! I have a feeling the parts issue is rectified, they were flying the parts from Mexico and I believe it was up and running by second shift. I have a feeling we're going to pay for this by having an extra Saturday thrown in for production. At least it won't be this Saturday since the weekend is blacked out.

I'm feeling a little sore from my round yesterday but feeling good about the progress I've made from tee to green. I've been replaying the round in my mind and am just giddy with all the improvements in my long game.

Happy Thursday morning!  No golf Gkids still here couple more days.  Nice rain thunderstorms last night, we need the rain.  
Gdaughter HAS to take golf in her Sophomore year in the fall.  Part of her college business class, never heard that b4.  Took them to driving net at golf course after a short session in back yard with golf wiffle balls.  They were hitting the ball pretty well.  They want more today.

Good morning alll! Life is good today and yesterday was a great day! Cobra club shipping notification for delivery tomorrow and we got an offer we plan to accept on a 5 acre piece of land we bought three years ago. We had planned to build a home, then cost went through the roof, we decided to wait, and then got lucky with buying our home on the golf course. Land doubled in value so we are making one heck of a profit on it . 

On deck for today is my favorite golf outing of the year, and I’m playing with a great group of guys. It’s a scramble that is a fundraiser for the high school athletic department, and the weather is looking perfect so far. To top it off, the First Tee program starts for our oldest son Myles starts today, AND the club asked him to walk in the parade this weekend for an annual celebration here in Reedsburg to represent the club. He is super excited about it and you can tell he feels really proud to get to do so.

Good morning MGSpies on this sunny good weather forecast WNY Thursday  hot coffee and Forum start today with online training for work that shifts my regular time back an hour so afternoon tee time is easily missed.  What?! you might ask but the madness is in the method with the deal MyGolfSpouse gave me years ago (to golf as much as I want as long as weekends are for home) must be accommodated with yardwork on this excellent weather weekday as golf happens every day this long Juneteenth Holiday weekend.

In addition to 9 holes at the regular course Friday evening with partners, Saturday afternoon is first opportunity to attend a PGA HOPE Downrange session, a new feature being piloted by WNY PGA HOPE intended to provide for graduates of the HOPE program to continue the community and good work that was started in the original 6 week sessions.  Sunday is the regular PGA HOPE session 3 of 6 for the Rochester area Vets at Southern Meadows GC, and Monday is the Thousand Islands CC trip with son we do annually that is a full day out away from home halfway across the state.  With this much golf interfering with the agreement, there must be accommodation during the week for the weekend especially supporting the HOPE session on Fathers Day (and in-laws have already invited us over for a cookout Sunday afternoon!)

There's more involving yesterday's after-work hours support to the HOPE session 3 of 6 at Glen Oak GC and before that learning the volunteer task of swapping freshly repaired flags  for ones that need repair at the Western New York National Cemetery.  But telling all that might seem overwhelming as I suppose it is prone to be doing it... so I did ...  Hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning everyone, no golf yesterday got rained out. Today looks good so far but there might be a chance of a shower later. Thursday everyone puts in 2 dollars and we play skins. Have a great day everyone.

Been going at it for 2 hours the morning with laundry and cleaning. Paid some bills and did prepped for the day. Grabbing a haircut prior to hanging out with my wife and son. Big PowerPoint presentation tomorrow at the local college for the first year students. 
 

18 later in today with some friends at a really nice course. They’ve played a few KFT events their so I am looking forward to it
