A good morning to everyone. Enjoying my morning espresso, contemplating if I should begin my project to add pot lights to the basement today.  I think another coffee is in order first.
@Northern Monkey enjoy your trip to Rome, a great city to visit.
@Erin B Good to hear that Zoey is getting better on her road to recovery

Good morning Spies,

Uppa with a cuppa. It’s a beautiful morning in Central NY. Cooper got microchipped yesterday. He is such a happy pup. I got out for a quick 9 yesterday. I played the back 9 on hole 17 I pulled my wedge left and over shot the green as well. I lost my ball in the shrubbery. I never did find my ball but did find a dozen others including a Pro V1, a TP5, a Tour B XS, and several others. 😂 I’d call that a win.
@Erin B glad to hear Zoey is on the mend. Hopefully the 2 weeks will pass quickly.

@Northern Monkey have fun in Rome. It’s on my list to visit one day.

Wishing all a wonderful day!

Good morning Spies on a cloudy October 1 day here.

Later start here for me as SWMBO had a doctor appointment at 7:00AM but that went well, just a quick follow-up visit for her.

Happy Birthday and safe travels @Northern Monkey enjoy your time in Rome.

Glad to see that your daughter will be OK @Erin B and that she also has a great time on your upcoming trip, even with some restrictions.

Cold front passing through today, so rain expected later as it moves through, but the rest of the week looks to be good weather for outdoor activities.

Hope all have the best day they possibly can, and that something enjoyable is in your plans. ⛳

Morning everyone. Gonna be a long day baby sitting a vinyl siding crew from Feldco that's coming to fix all the screw ups they did when they sided our house. I'm a pretty mellow dude but I'm staying on their butts until they do it right today. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't let Feldco side my doghouse.

Early start today and now sat at the airport waiting for my flight to Rome.

If you're sitting at Heathrow that's no good, but otherwise enjoy the trip! (I'm no fan of LHR; why they don't let you go to your gate until 5 minutes before boarding is a complete mystery.) Haven't made it to Italy yet; my Euro stops have been Sweden, Belgium, Germany, passing through France on the train, and of course UK. Have fun!

@Erin B enjoy Austin. I've been there a lot as a college sports fan, not so much music. Sixth Street is a lot of fun. You see bumper stickers around town "Keep Austin Weird," and Sixth Street reminds you why.

Happy October, Spies! More study for me today, plus the quarterly Zoom meeting with my boss which is always fun. Heard from my ortho regarding my MRI; he wants me to make an appointment to come in. Sigh. For some reason you can't make followup appointments using the patient portal, so I'll have to call. In the meantime, continuing to study for Friday's torture. Meanwhile, the toll from Helene continues to rise in NC and there are still thousands unaccounted for.

Golf note: Just got an email from my club in Scotland that the World Hickory Open is being played on our course, among others, on October 10. Would be interesting to see how they handle the links with the old equipment.

If you can, hit 'em straight and putt 'em straighter!

Good morning MGSpies from a dark downtown by the office building for today's workday and listening to Maria Davis' Imaginarium on Pandora with coffee setting a mellow tone perfect for relaxing.  Good to know Zoey is on track for a good outcome @Erin B and love the birthday trip @Northern Monkey as that's all what the one day for each year celebration should be about 💫

Yesterday had a good afternoon round with Jim @The1C3man and posted in the GT-14 testing thread for the first time putting the Oreo bag on the Clicgear, and I noticed a desirable difference 😀 golf is limited to forum today, hope golf is a part of your day ⛳

Thank you and can’t wait to read your post!

@Northern Monkey enjoy the trip!

Was an average day here, though my son and I did get out hair cut so there is that. It had been far too long so I was glad to get it done, also it was great to see my son jump in a bit on the conversation as I got my hair cut, as skill I never practiced as a kid and wish I did.

More wonderful fall weather going on here and I am looking forward to enjoying it today.

Have a great Tuesday!

Thank you and good to get out with the kiddo!!

I guess I've got enough mileage where I better not skip routine maintenance.

Neighboring city 9 hole course opens up today for their fall season and will allow the great unwashed to play.  Very excited to get out there and see how it is.

@Erin B Glad to hear the good news.

Thank you, hope your neck feels better!

Much appreciated! We’ve been to Austin before for hockey! It’s a fun place, but a lot of homeless. Sixth street is neat, went to the wax museum and CIC got a tattoo from a local shop.

May have 18 on the schedule if the weather holds out this afternoon - currently partly cloudy and a little cool, but as we all too well know: the weather does what *it* wants! 😄

Good Tuesday morning Spies!

Going to be a busy one today with yard work on the agenda for the morning hours and then GC duties during the afternoon. Additionally, the CEO has advised that some items of her craft show inventory need replenishment and by Thursday if you don't mind...🥴

@Erin B so glad to hear Zoey is doing well and can return to the ice in a couple of weeks. I would imagine the next 2 weeks will be a little tense due to her desire to return to the game. At least the Austin trip will help with that.

Thoughts and prayers are with all affected by Helene and dealing with the aftermath.

Hope everyone has a great day and keep 'em in the short grass if you get the opportunity to get some time on the course

Been to Norton many times. We are in far SWVA and Norton is another 2-1/2 hours west of us. It's out there, man. Norton is just about as far west as Detroit Michigan. The southern border of Virginia from Virginia Beach to the Tennessee border is 600 miles.

1.      L.A.B. DF3 long term review (50 round data):  How and why did it knock the Evnroll out of the bag and is it still there?  Part 2 – Impact on game data and does the fitting data corroborate the on course results

Also, for those who are interested, Phil Kenyon, one of the worlds elite putting coaches is offering his 5 day putting challenge.  As part of this challenge:  He will give you exclusive access to his private members only group.  Each day they will share a new drill/challenge. These are some of the exact drills he uses with his world class players like Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood and Scottie Scheffler.  Better yet, every task can be done in under 15 minutes, plus he is also featuring 4 Live webinars where they will answer all of your putting questions.  It all starts on Wednesday 6th October - and it's free!  I've done these in the past and found them quite helpful  Link is below

It's out there, man.

Only time I was ever in Norton was when I was about 6 years old, so that was REALLY way back there. About all I remember from that is that my grandfather's brother owned the Texaco station in town. From Norton we went to Fairfax and stayed with other relatives and did the DC tourist stuff. I don't think the interstates had been completed yet so I'm sure that drive took FOR-EV-ER.

Obsessed with chasing the dimpled orb.

More about me:  WITB type stuff

I spent the day yesterday driving around the area getting some images of Helene damage. I work in the civil and environmental engineering field. We will be busy for the foreseeable future, for sure. As of now, there are no reports of fatalities. These images are from the tiny town of Fries, Virginia (pronounced Freeze). I grew up in Fries. The town is essentially isolated and cut off from the outside world at the moment. All roads leading to town are either washed out or severely damaged.

It's a beautiful area of the country.  Quite scary when you see the aftermath devastation of hurricanes and the resultant rain/flooding.  It's going to take time to rebuild and put all the pieces back together.  Hopefully, people are safe.

Good morning, Spies!! Happy Second Monday!!

It's a foggy, drizzly, yucky morning. The sun should make an appearance this afternoon, hopefully. Need me some sun!! I do miss that from living out in AZ, that's for sure.

Heading up to SW Ohio tomorrow after work, so this afternoon/evening will be all about packing and getting the house ready to be alone for about 10 days. My folks will be around to check on it if need be, though. It'll be nice to spend some time with them, especially as Ian is fully into his senior year and will finish his last soccer season while I'm there. Plus Duncan started playing football this year, a bit out of the blue. It'll be nice to watch him play a sport I enjoyed so much.

Anyway, have a great day everyone. I should go pretend to do some work.

Good morning spies!

Threw my back out again this past weekend, this time moving furniture. It's becoming more and more regular, but also, less severe I guess. Anyways, no golf for me until tomorrow.

On the other side, did you guys see that new Tour Edge 10K driver 😍 she is pretty pretty sexy.
