Ping Anser F - Any info?

Recently acquired a new to me “old” Ping Anser F. I’ve tried to do research online but could not identify which model this is and when it came out. 
 

35” with stock shaft and grip. Feels exceptional and works well for my taste. Considering putting this in the bag. Would just like to know more about it.

Ping Isoforce Anser F with Titanium pixels.   Made in the 98-2000ish timeframe. 
 

numbered series to make them more desirable and compete with the Cameron TEI3, but they weren’t .   Later releases weren’t numbed.   
 

the 2000 millennium was probably just a custom engraving for some company and not  a Ping public release. This probably puts it closer to 1999 as something done for  Y2K 

 

Have you called Ping Customer Service?   The are always very helpful.

Thanks @cnosil for the info! Haven’t tried Ping customer service yet. Will try to get a hold of them. 
 

i thought it was a a custom job initially, then I noticed that the original head cover had the 2K stitched also. Then again, you might be right. Might have been a custom order for some company.
