I have a soft spot for Wilson irons.  While they won't bump what's out of my bag, I absolutely love the complete look of these clubs.  Perfect blend of 1970's meets 2020's.

I've been a Wilson fan / user for years. I started with the Fat Shafts Robert Mandrella, then Di7, Di9, D200's and I am looking forward to the Dynapower that is coming out this year. For some reason I have always played the Wilsons better.

I picked up a set of the D9 forged last month at a killer price, but those Dynapower Forged as well as the Staff CB's really have my second guessing that purchase.

These look fantastic.  Great competition between Ping and Wilson for nicest looking new MBs.  Too bad my game is not remotely good enough to play either one.

They look fantastic. The CBs will definitely have my attention as and when I upgrade in future. Can't wait to see all the review videos of them. The last iteration looked great and was meant to be very forgiving for a CB as well as feeling great.

I'll definitely be looking out for an opportunity to give them a try.

I was wondering when this post would go up!  If the CBs are like the previous gen, they are way more playable and forgiving than you would expect.  I love the new shield and font for the club numbers.

Not going to lie I was ignorant to Wilson and wow these are looking so nice. Always thought it was one of those like cheap golf clubs you’d give to kids cause you don’t care what happens to them. NOW though I am very impressed. They have that premium iron look and feel with I won’t say cheap but not some of the insane prices you see out of some of the bigger names

The last gen was way more forgiving than they had any business being.  Great set of irons

I see you have/ had some 70s Staff irons. My first set of clubs as a teenager were hand-me-down 80's Staff blades. Loved them. Never should have traded them in!

That's awesome! I've still got them, I picked them up a few years ago to make a vintage bag and I'm ashamed to admit that I still haven't played them.  With eBay and second hand stores, you might be able to get a set of your old irons again

Those look so darn sexy.  Just wow!

I’m in the camp that thinks more people can hit blades than think they can.  (I may be wrong?)   If these are as forgiving as Wilson says, maybe they will prove me right!

Regardless, these and the Blueprints are the first 2024 iron releases that get my fire started.  I will look for a chance to test them when they hit stores!

These irons look awesome! If they feel anything like the Wilson driving iron I just picked up they would be amazing as the driving iron is just pure butter. I will definitely be looking into these.

I have been occasionally looking for some in local second hand and charity/thrift stores. 
I have a 3-PW set of Mizuno MP60s I bought for $22 from Goodwill last year! Cleaned them up and regripped them and they are now the set my 12yr old son will learn with. Ha ha.

... I'm right there with you, always loved Wilson irons and both you guys will appreciate this. When I was on staff with Wilson they put together a set of irons for me with Firestick titanium shafts and I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Mandrella and having him bend my irons. 2-gw and he had a plywood board with some black lines painted on it. No numbers or letters. I needed my irons bent 2* upright and he put one in an oooooold vice and with an equally oooooold copper mallet hammer that had been splayed open from years and years of use, and he gave it a good solid pound. Took it out and put it on the board, looked at a line and put it in my bag. He did this with every iron but one when he put it on the board and hit it a 2nd time with less force and didn't even check the board, just put it in my bag. It was an amazing experience watching one of the truly great craftsman display his artistry. 

... I took them to Golfsmith to double check the specs since my playing pard was the Manager. Every single iron was perfectly on spec.

I've got to join you fellas, Although, I stupidly thought of Wilson as a wannabe in the golf world for a while.  I have developed a love for Wilson clubs over the years. My first set of clubs given to me by my great uncle was a set of Wilson's in the late 90s.  Before landing here and having the D7 challenge prove that Wilson was much more than a wannabe. 

About a year ago, I stumbled across an old golf bag at my parents and in it was an old Wilson wedge that dated back to just before my grandpa passed (decades before I was alive).  I can't verify it, but I think that may have been his old wedge.  So now Wilson clubs mean just a little more.

... To be fair amigo, Wilson was a wannabe in the golf world for awhile. They changed their focus from a tour equipment company to a bargain company and many of us thought they would never be included with the Big Boys again. The nostalgic love for their irons has turned into appreciation of their current offerings. I think this current CB looks like it could have been made by Mizuno and that is such good news for Wilson and their fans.

Great, now I have to go find a set of the previous gen CB's just to test them out. I do love the look of the previous gen, as well as this new gen.

That is fair, but I will counter your fair point with another.  My real golf life started in 2017, well into the rebuild.  I wouldn't have dreamed of having a Wilson club then, and I didn't have high hopes two years later when going into the D7 review.  Now I see the long history and the big corporate misfires to which took them from king to nobody.  I am just happy that Wilson is making serious equipment and we can be here to appreciate some great looking and (hopefully) performing clubs.
