One of those days I should have stayed in bed.

 

Today I did the following:

 

Sent an email to a vendor that I had meant to send to someone internally about said vendor 😱

 

Pretty much told a peer at work he wasn't doing his job and should take it more seriously. Only to get the Stink Eye in return 😈

 

Got lit up by a player when I tried very politkeu to explain that he might not finish 18 holes at twilight. That was the reason it's $15 cheaper at 3:00 than 1:00. Only to be called every name in the book and be told by him that I had probably just run off 6 years of business. 😭

 

Well tomorrow is another day.

So a guy was given vacation at work with out checking with his supervisor (me) and now they don't have enough people for the weekend. So I get to fill in... check out the weather! Had a 1 o clock tee time on Saturday. The rest of the month looks like sh!t.

How was it approved? Obviously a failure in the system. Sucks... I was in management for a long time and don't miss it when these types of issues pop up. Can anybody else cover while you step out?

That player probably only plays 1 round there a year so no big loss Do I know that peer? (I have an idea who it is)... And who hasn't sent an email about a person to the actual person... It's a right of passage, lol. You should go out and hit balls at a local range that are currently demoing Titleist clubs

Yeah. Fortunately when I showed my boss the email as I'm sure he will here about it, he read it laughed told me a story of him doing the same thing. But then said it does give you that "Oh Sh!%" moment. Ha

 

Yes you do know the peer and are probably correct in your guess.

Unfortunately I'm the only guy for the job. I missed it, we had another guy in training that had an issue come up, but mostly a mistake in the office next to mine.

Happened earlier.. MARC train literally dies in the middle of the track this AM. No power to our car for 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, the train finally started up. We were only 1/2 mile from Union Station in DC. Probably could of walked there in 5 minutes.

Yes sir those are snowflakes. Looking out the window is depressing. He's going to Disney World so I called him and said you best bring me back a friggin Mickey Mouse golf ball or something!!! Or better yet, something with Darth on it.

Took a half day yesterday to get the grass cut. Edged, trimmed and trim mowed. Went to start the tractor and the bastard cranks but nothing...it's got spark and fuel. Plug looks a bit fouled but I'm almost going to bet the carb has had the dick.

Did that earlier this week. Fired up an 8yr old Honda mower. Dang thing cranks up every time on the first pull. Love that thing as it's build like a tank... And heavy as one too. Didn't get to trim though as my dad borrowed my trimmer and hasn't given it back yet, lol.

You use stabil? Or some sort of fuel stabilizer?
