Hello my name is Alan, and I'm addicted to golf. Stuck in a frozen tundra for 5-6 months out of the year is really putting a damper on my practice. Looking forward to mid April for some overly soft conditions for a month or 2.

 

Don't let my name scare you. My family is from Edinburg, and must have been some crap golfers to get a surname like Shanks, but you gotta embrace it right?

Haven't had a chance to play Greywalls. It's on my list for this summer. I live in the Marquette area. Normally play the NMU or Pictured Rocks course. Got my second Ace on the NMU course last summer. Photo below.

It's great in summer after the mosquitos and black flies are gone. And fall is amazing, but the other 2 seasons... not so much.

 

I lived in Bellingham Washington for a few years. Miss the PACNW.
