I was wondering if anyone had a chance to use Maxfli C3 wedges. I had a $50 gift certificate from Dick's and it was buy one wedge get one free for $70. Looked and felt like a solid wedge and the price was right.

Just curious if anyone had any experience with the club. Thanks and have a great labor day weekend.

I've heard really good things about the C3 series (not the wedges in general). Maxfli is trying to get in the game with their new tour balls and the C3 clubs. All of the C3 woods have the UST Proforce V2 shaft. I've thought about trying out a 3W or 5W for $50, if nothing else, I'd use the shaft.

Make sure you write up a review on them after you put them through their paces, I'm interested to see what you think. I'm all about playing cheaper equipment if the performance is there.

I have the C3 hybrid/iron set.. the C3 wedges.. and a C3 putter (model 4).

Very nice products, considering they are Maxfli. I've played these clubs all this year, and have dropped my handicap down from 20 to 15.6 this year alone.

The C3 wedges have a nice feel.. a firm feel.. similiar to a 8620 cast type wedge..

the 60º lob wedge has a perfect, mid range bounce of 8º that works well from almost all turf conditions.. even from a hardpan, desert lie..

Maxfli used to be a player on tour, much like Top-Flite, Tommy Armour, Ram, Lynx and Ben Hogan. Lynx does OK- they're just not heavily promoted by Golfsmith. Looks like Dick's is taking a more active approach with Maxfli. I'm rather curious as to how this will turn out.

The C3 line was from Maxfli before Dick's took over the line.....Maxfli had some balls called C3 but are no longer available.
