Sluggo42
Shot of todays round was just a simple flop shot out of absolute crap patch grass, over an alligator filled lava river onto a 2 sq ft landing pad, that would fall off the side of the planet if hit a foot too long. patrickleeleep
Definitely had a great recovery shot. Dog leg left with trees lining the fairway so it’s hard to cut the corner unless you have a very high ball flight. I kind of fanned my driver out to the right off the toe but stayed in the fairway luckily. Decided If I hit a pure 7 wood it would get there and if not it’ll leave me short. Well I roped the shot and it bounced just short and hopped up and rolled to about 2-3’ and I knocked it in for birdie. StrokerAce
I've been playing golf for quite a while and have done a few different things on the course but last weekend I did something that I never thought I'd do. I was on a par 4 and I hit my tee shot and it hit a tree about 150 yards out and fell right below. The ball was in medium rough but wasn't buried. Pin was 255 yards away according to my rangefinder. I have a Cobra F7 3 wood with the rails on the bottom and figured that I might as well try to advance it as far as I could; besides, the rails are supposed to help gouge it out of the rough. Made a good swing and hit it pretty straight but I didn't see where it ended up. My buddy was on the green and I'm looking about 50 yards away and I can't find the ball. Yep... you guessed it. He points to the cup. An eagle on a Par 4 from 255 with a 3 wood after a bad tee shot that I didn't even get to see go in.... HA! tommc23
Had a few candidates for my shot of the day today each had their reasons. One was a par 4 kept trying to hit my driving iron well didn't off of the tee, stinger, but it got me to the area I needed to be 170 out but severely up hill hit the driving iron again and landed just shy of the green(4 club will). That was a potential because I finally hit the driving iron well. The next possible was I was on a par 3 hitting my iron shot and just as I was hitting the shot a cart accident nearly happened behind me and I hit a poor shot then went back and rehit my tee shot. Finally hit a good iron shot and one hopped my 8i wasn't getting any spin today which is very abnormal for me. The definite shot of the day was a 4i punch out from trees and it landed just short of the green and hopped on. Landed to under 20 feet from the flag. That was awesome because it was pretty much jail. MattF, GolfSpy_SHARK and Rickp
