Gulf of Mexico southeast here! Just had my first real fitting and bought a set of Edel irons.

Have to admit I never heard of them but really felt great had better distance right away.

A forged club made in Texas. My fitter plays them and that's how I came on them.

A bit of buyers remorse because I can find little on them. Fitter says they are Ferrari's.

Anybody play them?

They are in this years most wanted players irons testing so I have tried them a little bit.   Nice clubs and I really enjoyed trying them out;  one of my personal favorites.   Probably won't find a lot of information about them because Edel is a niche brand for irons, wedges, and I would even say their putters (which they are known for).

Only played a putter which actually is a good putter. But no better than other (non-custom) top quality putters. Just way over priced. It's boutique stuff. But, that's what you get when you go custom. I know one guy that bought a set of their irons and got rid of them. The fitter put him into a very unforgiving blade style. (the fault of both the fitter and the buyer) The guy is a very good player but not scratch or plus. And even then these irons might have been too much to most players except perhaps Tiger.

This guy was fit in Texas at their Liberty Hill headquarters.

They are excellent quality clubs, a little boutique like Plaid said, but assembled well by golfers in Texas. If you were fit into them I think you will enjoy them. No need for name brand recognition buyers remorse. If they work they work!

I had them for just over a year and really enjoyed them. The feel on well-struck shots was great, but just off from center and it was noticeable. The distance they put-out was very good for traditionally lofted irons, and customer service is second-to-none! Choosing one's own colors for paint fill is really cool. Customization like no other company!!!

If they felt a little bit better, they'd still be in my bag. I've been to the HQ just North of Austin and everyone there, including Mr Edel himself, are fantastic people. I highly recommend them as a company!!!
