Not a major, but I like the 50 man field. Anyone that makes the cut has a chance... we all know what he story line is, but I think more importantly this is the last WGC held here, so to my count two Jack courses are/will be playing their last PGA event...

I'm sad to know that my hometown is losing this event.  Akron always shows up and shows out for this, but the PGA is chasing the FedEx $.

 

I'm picking Justin Thomas. He hasn't made too much noise lately on leader boards, but this course is built for bombers.

With his history here, I feel like this may be the place for him to get a win, but will depend on how he well he gets off the tee to a large extent.

Firestone usually requires some length and good ballstriking. Give me Rors since he appears to be rounding into form. Or DJ. I think that type of players wins.

The field sure seems to have things dialed in.  With nice weather in the forecast, Sundays winner will likely be peeking at -16 or better. Poulter nearly set course record - what's gotten into The Ferrari Kid?
