JohnSmalls 6,997
Great stage 1 guys. A few months ago I went to our local DSG to try a TA3, and found it to be a nice putter! I hope you do as well. But one thing stuck out to me, that was when I would address the ball, the putter face looked open to me. I thought I noticed that in some of your top down photos addressing the golf ball. Are you guys seeing this as well? Are you guys seeing this as well? Actually, I find the opposite to be true. The TA3 feels closed at address compared to my gamer. What's worse is that the TA3 feeling closed scared me a little; I have a tendency to miss short putts to the left if I get too nervous and squeeze the grip too tight. I'm happy to say that at least in my initial testing, this hasn't been an issue. 2 Quote Sean K. My misses tend to be pushes, and I was worried that the TA3 would really highlight that since it looked open to me. Once I started rolling the ball at the store, my concerns quickly disappeared and I put it on the intended line with little problem. Maybe these things are magic? 1 Quote SkyCaddie SX400 Gameday OGIO Silencer: Followed by Arccos King F9, Atmos TS Blue Mavrik 3w, Evenflow Riptide Covert 2.0 5W, 3H, Kuro Kage Black Wilson D7 Irons 4-GW, Dynamic Gold AMT Glide 52, 56 ES ER2 -ProV1x (left dash) Romans 10:9 Classic Bag Jones Collegiate Clemson Stand Bag Eye 2 Laminate, 1,3,5,7 1973 Staff Dynapower 4-PW Original Anser DUO
jayjay0808 1,218
Had another go with this putter on Sunday... Interesting results. I am having a difficult time with the look down behind the ball. We will see how this stacks up over the next few weeks. 1 Quote In my bag: Driver: Speedzone Xtreme 9.0* Fujikura Motore X F1 6X Wood: Speedzone Tour Fujikura Motore X F1 7X Hybrids: King Utility 19.5* Diamana Tensei White Pro 90TX Irons: Srixon ZX5 4-6 (1 degree weak), ZX7 7-PW Project X 6.5 Wedges: Milled Grind 3 50*, 54*, 58* Tour Issue S400 Putter: Nashville Z1C 34" Ball: Tour B X

I have adjusted my swing path by straightening it out a bit which has been keeping it straighter.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
Txmason123 119
I have taken the TA3 on the road for testing. Last week I tested it on several of the courses in Hot Springs Village. This week I took it to The Territory in Oklahoma. Stay tuned for the results! 2 Quote Mizuno JPX EZ driver Taylormade SLDR HL 3 wood Mizuno JPX EZ hybrids 3 & 4 Mizuno JPX EZ Irons 4-G Titleist SM6 Vokey wedge 54.10 Odyssey White Hot Pro V-line putter
tchat07 1,864
Had my first disappointing putting round today since getting the TA3. Now by the numbers it was an average round for me but it was slightly worse then the previous 2 I had with the TA3. Had some real difficulty controlling speed on mid range putts, either buzzed edges or put it 5-10 feet past.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
HeathS16 2,316
Just played the other day and had 28 total putts. 8 one putts and 3 birdie. If I had struck the ball better this could have been a sub 80 round easy.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 4 Quote Driver: TSi3 Tester Check out the Review HERE 3-wood: Pro (13*) 5-Wood: Pro (18*) Irons : i210 4-PW Wedges: RTX-4 50* and 54* RTX-3 *58 Putter: Impact No. 3 Ball: MAXFLI TOUR Tracked by:
goaliewales14 1,692
One of the things I love about this review is how many different types of original gamers we have for a comparison! With that being said, do you guys feel that the ball is rolling better off the face compared to your current gamers? That's one of the first things I always look at with putters is how much the ball is skipping, especially on longer putts. 1 Quote Driver: Callaway Rogue ST Max 3 Wood: Taylormade SIM 3 Utility Iron: Srixon U85 4i – AW: Taylormade P760 SW: Taylormade MG3 TW Grind LW: Taylormade Hi-Toe Low Bounce Putter: PXG Battle Ready One & Done

That's one of the first things I always look at with putters is how much the ball is skipping, especially on longer putts.I feel the ball rolls very well, surprisingly better then my Odyssey #7. What I am most impressed with is the roll I get even on poor strikes. I cannot remember a skip I've had within 15 ft. On longer putts I'll get the occasional skip but one that's my buggaboo range and two it's mostly caused by my poor tempo and nothing to do with the TA3.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app

That's one of the first things I always look at with putters is how much the ball is skipping, especially on longer putts.Been switching back and forth between the gamer and the TA3 noticing that the TA3 feels like it comes off the face more on line than my current gamer. On longer putts I have not been able to tell too much of a difference as of yet. Another weird thing, due to the smallness of the TA3 putter face I find that I am hitting the center of my MLA much more often than before, weird tidbit but I think the TA3 is helping the ball striking in my putting. tchat07 1,864
Ok whoever started the open club face talk has gotten in my head because I am having an awful time closing the club face and sending putts left. Had a horrid day putting with 5 3-putts, the positive is the shortest 3-putt was 30 ft the longest 82. Looks like I need to work on proximity to the hole.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app

I don't think there's anything weird about that it all. It's like those tiny holes on the practice green that make you really focus, so when you putt into a normal sized cup, it looks huge and you feel like you can't miss it. 1 Quote In my carry bag: Mavrik Max 10.5* R Flex Evenflow RipTide Hy-Wood Launcher 5h D200 6i-PW CBX 54* & 58* #10 e12 Contact

HeathS16 2,316
Which type of putting stroke do you guys suggest the TA3 is best suited for?Straight back and straight through. Though a small arch does at times feel a bit more comfortable and sends the ball well. Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app Yes, I would agree, been trying to play around with different strokes and find SBST to be the most consistent. I tend to pull more putts when I use a bit more arc. I tend to pull more putts when I use a bit more arc. Agreed lots of balls ending up a little more left then I planned. My problem is maintaining SBST on longer putts, I tend to add some arc toward the back end which leads to a pull and often poor distance control.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
