Cameron refurb help

Dad found a twenty year old Cameron Laguna while working a kitchen job last week. It’s tired and neglected and we thought it would be fun to see what we can do.

 

Before I go any further, I’m not interested in sending this to his shop. This is merely for fun and not worth sinking several hundred dollars into.

 

First things first, where can I find a proper shaft with the appropriate flange?

 

Second, for anyone who has tried this before, I am curious if you have any suggestions. Some photos are attached...it took a WD40 bath.

If you ever come down to Myrtle Beach, "I have a guy..." 

He's an amazing fitter and loves to restore old Cameron's. If you like the murdered out look, you'd be amazed what he does. Very inexpensive also. Probably get a like new condition putter for under $50????

I appreciate it but we’re looking to see if we can do it...to understand this is to know my father.  He is a builder, tinkerer and all around hands on guy.  He built two homes, has done countless kitchens and baths and likes to figure things out by trying them on his own...:)

Give Golfworks a call. They should have the shaft, grip, and whatever else you need. 

Let them guide you through it. Have fun with dad, and post pics of the finished product.
