What do you do for a living?

But when I was a network engineer, we had a saying:

"Network Engineers are just like everyone else. Only smarter"

My wife loves it when I say "don't argue with me, I'm an engineer".

I'm an engineer, and my wife is an artist.  When I say "I'm putting my foot down."  She just laughs.   :(

I have a team of actuaries that work for me.....hard to beat this bunch on the nerd scale.  And this is coming from a CPA that spend a lot of his career doing technical accounting.

My wife is a director at USAA  in actuary/ risk management....... too funny.

You guys are taking over my head. I design and build optical DWDM networks that push 4Tb of data over hundreds of miles on a pair of hair thin pieces of glass.

That has nothing to do with being an engineer....

For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.

I'm 27, been married for 4 years and have 2 kids. I work as a medical assistant for a family doctor and am just about to start nursing school. I've been going to school for far too long and still have too much to do. That's what happens when you have no idea what you want to do.

I never did finish school for "what I wanted to do." A better opportunity presented itself so school took a back seat yet again.

I'm just now getting into the wireless transport game. When I say "getting into" I mean that I'm actively building a WISP to serve rural areas that can't get broadband.
