What are your wedge degrees and why?

50, 54, and 58. It's really very rare that I take a full swing with the 54 and 58 - I'm more comfortable with a partial 50 at this point. Prior to this season I had 56 and 60, but changed it up primarily to get the 60 out of my bag. I had a tendency to try to get too "cute" with the 60 and caused myself pain. With a 58, it's just enough harder to do a delicate flop, that I am less likely to try and focus on getting it on the green the first try.

I am the same .... way more comfortable controlling distance and direction taking a partial swing with the longer wedge than taking a full swing with the shorter wedge.  Having used the set PW for over a year and being more used to it for partial shots, I might even be able to take the 49* out of the bag if I need to add a 3w or 4w at the top end.

My Wilson Staff D-7 Wedge is 45*, so I carry the Cleveland Zipcores in 50/54/58.  The 50* is my 90-100 yard club, the 54* is my 80-90 yard club and the 58* is my 65-75 yard club, all at full swing. At half swing, I get 40 yards from the 54* and 50 yards from the 50*.  The 58* is my sand wedge.

Thanks everyone.   My big gap is between PW (same design as other irons) and specialized 52 degree wedge (similar to other wedges).  Like suggestions of bending 52 degree or buying 50 degree as although would leave gap the other way it is really much less frequent and covered by other wedges.

You could always add another wedge but you would need to subtract an iron or wood. Be careful with bending because it can increase the leading edge angle

45-50-56-60 but I would rather have 45-50-54-58

The 45 is the PW from my stock set and it like everything else in this strong lofted set gets up and goes.  I get about 133ish carry with it.  It even rockets the ball pretty well at 3/4 so I don't often hit it at anything less than full.

The 50 is a necessity for gapping purposes and it's a cbx that's very comfortable to full swing.  It slots right in at around 120ish.   I like the CBX because I can also pitch and chip with it if I need a shot to release.  I have a 52 that was part of the Ksig set but it just left too large of a gap 133 to 113 is 20 yards of empty and I found myself trying to overpower shots to make up for it -- ending up doing my best impression of digging a trench instead.

The 56  Leaves more gap than I'd like between it and the 50 at right around 103ish but I can at least dial the CBX back to get in those numbers.  I'd rather have a 54 but it's the ksig life for me for the moment.

The 60 Is handy situationally and a stock easy full swing is the perfect 80 yard club but I feel like a 58 would get a lot lot more use from me in more situations.

I carry 46 / 50 / 54 /58.

The 46 is the PW that matches my irons (TM p770). It functions like a 10-iron, and flies 110-115. Easy to flight down as needed.
50/54/58 are Cleveland RTX4.  Distance-wise, I get the following with 85% swings (as hard as I ever go after a wedge):

50 = 100-105
54 = 85-90
58 = 70-75

The 54 functions as my primary greenside club, with the 50 or 58 being used as needed for lie / green firmness / slope. 58 is my primary "stock" bunker club, with the 54 used for "long" greenside bunker shots (or from an upslope).

48, 52 and 58, though I rarely use the 52. I've had more than 3 wedges in my bag, but I keep coming back to the realization that I'm more comfortable doing partial shots with my 48. And after a golf sidekick video a few years ago where he recommended a 58 as a sand club, I haven't looked back.

Rag tag bag, but it does the job.

PW is 46 and I play it to 125ish.

GW is 50 and it is my 110 club.

SW is 56 and is my 85 club. I use it from 30 to 85. Anything less can be any of them based on lie and type of shot needed.

I've been missing the 100 yard club to fill the 85-100 yard need and I get that shot a lot so I just added a 52.

46, 50, 54, 60

46 replaced my pitching wedge. I play 714 AP2s and the PW just started feeling mushy. It was a real feel thing. 120-135

50 has been my favorite wedge and probably my most trusted. I can hit short pitches with it, low 75-80 yard shots into uphill greens, and it really shines on full swings at around 115.

54 is great for 105 and in when I want to hit something a little higher. I'll use it around the greens when I have room to let it run

60 I alternate between a vokey proto and a custom ground club with an x100. It's really dependent on course conditions as to which one I'll take.

Exactly.  I carried a 56* and 60* for years and this slight adjustment was a game changer

PW 45*, GW 50*, 56.10*, 60.06*

Wanted bounce on the 56 for bunkers - rarely use it anywhere else, and low bounce 60 for tight lies short sided - use it less than once per round. I use the PW full swing, GW full and partial swing, never use the 56 or 60 full swing. But what works for me may not work for others.

50-54-58 with a 47 Titleist CB PW in my set. I had the other set up, but then when I switched to a low bounce wedge the Vokey 58 was the lowest bounce I could find. I didn't add in the 50 till about 4 years ago.

I used to play a 52 but I've moved to 45 PW followed by 50-54-58. I'm using the 54 out of the sand most the time unless I'm in a weird lie or next to the lip, in which case I switch to the 58.

Was just having this conversation with our playing group the other day and it turns out most of us are locked into one club inside of like 80 yards most of the time. One guy is a PW guy no matter what, one guy hits his 52, and I'm a 58 guy because I can't generate any backspin. Golf is funny that way I guess.

Check out my swing I learned it from YouTube.

I like the 58* for high lob shots around the green and full 70 yards fairways shots. It's great for flop shots

My 54* sand wedge is my go to club for tight lies or short firm grass. It a beast from the sand

The 50* I got rid of my Vokey for a matching club of my Steelhead Irons with a steel wedge flex shaft. I  hit it

better then my Vokey from 90 yards when hitting a full shot and use it for off the green runners.
