Popular Post ZJeb67
Good morning All! Tried out some 7 woods over the weekend and for some reason was absolutely crushing them. Now I'm trying to justify a reason to add one to the bag. @Kenny B @sirchunksalot I have the white coat syndrome too. I should ask if I can bring in 140 lbs of black labs with me to my next appointment to see how well they keep reading in check. As the weather improves here I'm working on more chipping practice. Fingers crossed that it translates to improvements on the course. Good weather here has me in an upbeat mood. rkj427, Kenny B, Dead Solid Bogey and 16 others 13 4 2 Quote Driver/3H Mavrik 22 5H/SW: Edge 5-PW: MT-86 OS 56/60: Kirkland Signature Putter: White Hot Pro
Popular Post PapaGoose8
Man, let me tell you how bad the spring allergies have just kicked me square in the golf balls. I’ve been down and out for almost a week and it’s be less than fun. Going to try and hit the range today, but the pollen count is supposed to be really high again even with a little rain we had yesterday. This makes me wish I had an indoor simulator haha. happy Tuesday spies! Popular Post MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, pits a beautiful sunny morning in CNY. For some reason the sun seems extra bright and the coffee is extra tasty for me this morning. I am not even put off by the fact that I can’t golf this morning because I have to see the dentist for any achy tooth. I am incredibly grateful for the L.A.B. Golf DF3 testing opportunity. I feel lucky to getting teamed up with a great group of testers. Looking forward to building my putter and getting out on the green. My wife got into a wound care specialist. I am grateful that she is part of an amazing swim community. One of her swim friends is a retired surgeon who got her into the wound care specialist. While she is disappointed to not being to get back in the water for a few months she knows she is getting better care. She will now focus on her biking. She picked up her Tri-bike from its tuneup so she is looking forward to riding until getting back in the pool. @sirchunksalot good luck. Hope you get your BP sorted out soon. Popular Post Triple_Putt
Morning Spies! Up later than I'd like to be, but ended up working past midnight. Weather is gorgeous out, and I wish my days off started today rather than tomorrow... Either way I just got my tee times for tomorrow and Thursday all set, now im going to make some eggs, drink some coffee, and spend a few hours working around the house. We are having the central air system in the house replaced (its from the mid 80's) and they came and took all the old refrigerant out yesterday. To save a few bucks I volunteered to remove the old air handler out of the attic and get rid of the outside unit as well... Hoping to have that done so they can start installing the new next week. Popular Post ILMgolfnut
Good morning Spies! Got to the range too late yesterday to hit any balls (or at least they wouldn't sell me any) so I went to the end of the firing line and set up a Rypstick workout instead. Not sure how much I trust the Rypradar yet, but at the end it recorded four swings at 89 mph, which if accurate is my best by 5 mph. And I haven't even started the Fit For Golf test yet; we have a call with Mike Carroll tomorrow to get going on that. Meanwhile @Tom the Golf Nut and I firmed up our plans for a Friday afternoon round at his home course; it will be a hot one, pushing 90. Fortunately I have the sunscreen in my suitcase. More drama with my son; he has very bad feet, standing is difficult, and he works as a hotel desk clerk, which does require standing up a lot. He can manage if he has a place to sit down between guests. The manager of his new job refused to let him sit down at the desk and took him off the schedule, so he wasn't getting paid (if that sounds like a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act, you are getting the idea). Said manager has been told to find other places to mismanage and the new manager put my son on the schedule last night with a chair. But he wasn't getting paid for about three weeks, so he needs some $$$ help from dear old Dad. Congrats to all the new testers! I'm a bit jealous, but I'll get my current test done and then throw my hat back in the ring. 9 minutes ago, cksurfdude said: "y'all" is already plural Y'all is definitely plural Dead Solid Bogey, Rob Person, ZJeb67 and 17 others 18 2 Quote Obsessed with chasing the dimpled orb. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Good Tuesday morning my spies. Tuesday is here and upon us an is just grand. Mainly because it isn’t Monday. The following is pretty much a rehash of what I posted in last night’s Good Evening. The trip for work turned out to be a todo about nothing much. None of “ Those People’s “ property was damaged or taken. However, while on the border area the tiara wearing tyrant texted me, informing me she had gone all “ Girly Government “ on me and engaged in condemning and confiscating some of my retired golf gear. Seems that the Royalty is on a repurposing/ recycling kick. So far it is just the peasant husband’s stuff that is being repurposed and recycled. Crawled home and grabbed a quick shower and nap. Currently preparing to brace myself and see what other carnage the wife person has engaged in towards my innocent retired golf gear. @sirchunksalot hope you have a non eventful day with your BP. Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning and happy 2nd Monday, Spies!! It's an overcast and gloomy Tuesday morning here, with lots of rain on the way this week. We really don't need any more. When I played on Sunday, it was cart path only and the fairways were soggy in many spots. So it can stop any time now. Just got an old pair of Oakley prescription glasses back from FUSE lenses. I had them put in a custom pair of their Blue Light lenses (non-prescription) to see if that will help me with eye strain and headaches from too much time in front of the computer monitors during work hours. They didn't have lenses pre-cut for these Oakley's (Base Plane), so I utilized their custom cut service to send them the glasses and have the lenses cut and installed for me. Didn't take long and they look great. So we'll see how they work today. It's strange to have a pair of glasses back on my face when I'm not outside. Since my cataract surgeries 2 years ago (this month), I haven't needed anything other than sunglasses. So we'll see how my face/head react to having them on during the day. The doctor at the ER and at primary care are saying that since I haven't had a history of hypertension it's probably an anomaly caused by the vertigo which was probably caused by allergies. I have to go back to the clinic at work tomorrow to see if my BP is down and I can return to work. I just wish they'd quit jerking me around about this. The lady at the clinic has a horrible bedside manner and was asking me if I knew how to properly take a reading as I was getting a reading and having me answer which I've read is a no no. I wish they'd either let me go back to work or put me on short term to get out under control. I think I mentioned it earlier, but showing up with a bunch of BP reading from the same time (ideally morning, after void, before coffee and meds) gives the provider a much better baseline to prescribe BP meds than random readings. Popular Post Erin B
Good soggy, windy morning from wonderful Wyoming MGS troops! Obviously no golf today, or probably tomorrow. Supposed to be cold tomorrow as well. Oh well, I’ll just play the tournament with no practice rounds on Friday. The spousal unit’s Zonta art show went well. We set up craft tables and charcuterie table and apparently I’m the bead bracelet master. Hope you all have a great day today! Here are some pictures before I leave you! Popular Post jbern
Good morning! The kids and I got up early and surprised SWMBO with omelets and donuts. We didn’t get out of the house on time, but I think it was worth it for the special breakfast! I am ecstatic to be part of the DF3 testing opportunity with a great group! I’ve had about 20 variations open, but I think I’ve narrowed it down to about 3! Tonight my in-laws are coming to visit and we’re going out to our local Mexican restaurant to participate in taco Tuesday. The restaurant is fairly new and we haven’t been there yet so I’m looking forward to trying it out! Have a good day everyone! Popular Post MN_Hacker
I got the front lawn over seeded with at least 15 minutes to spare before the rain started this morning. I actually functioned BEFORE my coffee.
