My next thought would be that you need to figure out why face is closed at impact.   If you are moving the shoulders vertically then you a might be aiming left, Rolling  the hands or forearms during the stroke, thinking the stroke needs to arc, or you turn the shoulders horizontally to take a peek at the results. 
 

maybe exaggerate and hid the putter at the end of the stroke and make sure the face points down the startline.

Agreed. But my now renewed once per year trip for a week to the World Am doesn't allow for me to fully sample the tracks. Stephanie (we celebrate our anniversary during the World Am) suggested we do a three-week stay next year. I'm all for it because I know there are great tracks that I'd like to play. I'm guessing @BIG STU will be of help with choosing tracks if we do make it for that extended trip next year.

Good morning everyone. Well off on our vacation today. Flying from Texas to London. Then heading to South Hampton to board our cruise. From there Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. Should be a great trip! Hope everyone has a great day and couple of weeks.

@TAGolf13 I will have to check that out? How do they hold up for a cheaper glove?  I've bought those neoprene gloves with the sewn in leather pads off temu and they seem to hold up well for about 10 rounds before being stretched in the palm area.

Got mine off Temu as well and after 6 weeks, one ripped but still have several others. Since I'm rotating them in and out when they get wet, I can't really say how long each is holding up. I don't think that much about it at $6 per. I'll start paying a bit more attention and report back when I have something useful to report.

I have a couple brands from Amazon that I have bought like that.  $25-$30 for 5 gloves and it's what I typically will use in the summer because they are normally synthetic and last longer.

My immediate thought is that I'm doing the same thing in my putting stroke I all too often do with my full swing -- coming over the top. Is that accurate? Beats me.

Great idea 2 or 3 weeks long time and you’ll see and play a lot.  There is a ton of really good GC in the Grand Strand and @BIG STU would be an awesome resource.  Don’t forget Murrels Inlet for the restaurants.

That would be horizontal rotation of the shoulders.  While path has little effect on ball direction if you close the shoulders you may be delivering the face closed.

Good morning, and TGIFF, Spies!!!

Another beautiful day here with the sun shining bright, and great weather expected for this weekend! So looks like I'll finally get a round of golf in this Sunday!! I'm pretty sure it'll be terrible since it's been 3 weeks, but any round is a good one.

Not much else to report at the moment. Just need to get some golf time in before the season ends. Everyone have a great day!!

Morning All,

Last day of the work week and I’m ready. After having ran 3 miles yesterday, I feel like I could go sleep more today. First time running that far in about 10 years, and did it in 35 minutes. Learned I’m not in my 20’s anymore even though I want to lie to myself. Nothing major today except the Packers game tonight. Hoping it will be a good game. Hope everyone has a great day.

We loved the variety of places to eat and we found a little gem that's nothing more than a dive but the food was awesome. Habibi's Cafe & Pizzeria on Waccamaw. George's Seafood Buffet was awesome as well.

The GM Orion plant is not too far from the venue we hold our show at. Just head  down Brown Road to Joslyn and take Joslyn Road north a few miles.

Also, the Orion plant is currently undergoing a massive expansion and renovation, 1 Billion dollars, appears to be doubling in size. EV trucks slated for production there, I believe.

Yes, we typically try to make a stop at the restaurants there, whenever we are in that area. Also, Bronners Christmas Shop too. 

We also do a Fall Color Tour with our cars, and last October had a group go to Frankenmuth via the "backroads" to capture the scenic colors of the trees on the drive.

Some pictures from that are below, so some can see Frankenmuth, MI.

... Haha an agronomist that doesn't play golf.   Just type in How to read Bermuda grain and a billion videos pop up. There are several factors involved that caused me to putt poorly when I arrived in Phoenix going from 30 years putting on Bent grass to grainy Bermuda greens.

... I am a die putter and my ball usually topples in the front or side edge and when I miss it rarely rolls more than a foot past the hole. On Bermuda, even with a short putt if the grain is growing to either side I have to hit the putt with more authority because as it loses it's speed around the hole it can move 90* one way or the other the last few inches, something that never happened on Bent. Those same putts from 6 feet and longer will break quite a bit with the grain growing with the break and quite a bit less with the grain growing against the break. It has taken me quite awhile to fully acclimate to a putt that breaks 3 feet with the grain and 1 foot against the grain as well as slower into the grain and faster down grain. So I need an agronomists opinions about Bermuda greens as much as I need their opinion on the best way to manage the grass in my back yard.

Currently sitting at Dallas/Love Field drenching my clothes because its 90*degrees and rising with 70+% humidity, and I'm catching myself starring at the weather in Maryland that we'll be experiencing this upcoming week, and wondering why the hell I still choose to live in this hellacious city sometimes when I know there's better suited environments for a fat boy like me out there.

Small World indeed! Bronners was my favorite! Loved all the old European glass ornaments and model trains as it reminded me of my childhood years in Germany.

Glad to hear they are putting the Orion Facility back in play as it was a great plant back in my time there.

The canary islands are great!  I was in Lisboa then Barcelona just before the 92 olympics. The amount of churches are astonishing, and absolutely beautiful too.

since the US has eliminated Columbus day, make sure you get a picture of the Statue de Colon if you can. Also a tour up the mountain side looking down at the port is breathtaking!

Tried to get out for a round yesterday evening but was crunched for sunlight so went to Xgolf and played 9 with my father and a few buddies. Isually REALLY struggle indoors but actually played pretty well overall. Was still plus 5 through 9 after a blow up triple on a par 3 but great time. Getting prepared for the winter league indoor season a little early i guess.
