Morning Spies! 70 and humid on the way to the low 90s today. Yuck. Straight from winter to the sauna this year.

Should get a round in tomorrow, which will get me 5 submitted to the MGS virtual tour. Bag tag here I come!

Good morning Spies!

I’m just catching up on the forum.  Lots happening!

I am happy to be in spoiled golfer heaven during my family golf reunion.  Today will be day 4 of 6 golfing in Central Indiana with my brother and 4 cousins. It’s been wonderful.  Great weather and the guys love the courses.  We play Prairie View (Carmel, IN) today, Purgatory (Noblesville, IN) Sunday, and everyone is geared up (get it?) to play The Brickyard on Saturday.

IMG_4542.jpeg.7a500792235268573ea56d21b6f798f1.jpeg

(River Glen in Fishers, IN)

We took 5 first-timers to St. Elmo’s Steakhouse last night, including our 85 yo uncle, who had a blast.  It’s always fun to watch novices fail to heed the warnings about the freshly cut horseradish in the cocktail sauce.  Eyes watering.  Coughing. “Holy S***!”  Thinking Pizza King tonight.  (The fam has lots of history and roots in and around Muncie IN and it’s a staple there.  IYKYK.)

My game has been up and down, but overall much improved over last year.  I had a strong 43-39-82 round on Wednesday, which included my first birdie on the personal nemesis hole after a 100 yard wedge shot which spun back 5’ to leave me this 4’ putt. I hope that dagger in the beast hole’s heart will force it to continue to submit, but I doubt it.

Feeling very grateful for this time with family. Thanks for listening.

Oh, FWIW the new FJ Hyperflex Carbon shoes have been fantastically comfortable and stable.  Thank you to MGS for the annual shoe test and recommendation!

Hoping your weeks are as enjoyable as mine has been.  Have a great day!

At Elmo’s Steak yup been there, great steaks cool bar.  Used to take our customers from Roche there back in the day.

Sounds like a blast, Indy! I have been drooling over the FJ Hyperflex Carbons this year. I have the prior generation Hyperflex and they are the most comfortable golf shoe I've owned, but can be a little unstable on uneven turf. Will definitely be purchasing the carbons once these ones are no longer usable, thinking maybe next year.

Good morning everyone. Spending the day packing the car and suitcases as we get ready to head to the Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow. Getting in two days of golf at Old Kinderhook should take the edge off of spending 7 days with 19 people. All kidding aside, we’ve been doing this for the past 7 years and it’s a great time. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good Morning everyone!  Happy Friday!  Not playing again today; still resting my back.  Lovely weather for the next 10 days...

Our course has a big tournament tomorrow so we had to schedule a round at our sister muni across the river at 7am.  Pretty early for me with not much warmup; facilities are not as good as ours anyway.

Good Morning Folks

I'm home from my roadie. Didn't play as much as I'd like to have, but once I got rolling towards home I just kept going. I did stop in Richland Wa at Columbia Point golf course.I didn't make a tee time and just tried to walk on which if I wanted to wait til 3pm ( it was 12:45) I could have played. At that point I was 6 hours into my final drive home and decided to just go home. It was a nice warm day and the course looked like it was in good shape.

Playing Pumpkin Ridge today.

have a great day

That's a lot more than what we have just 60 miles north of your neck of the woods, consider an hour drive north and you can probably get in some rounds during that threat of T-Storms.  As close as Mayville or Ellicottville has non-rainy times for the next 2 weeks.

Look for a stay and play deal at Wildhorse Resort and Casino in Pendleton.  The course there is quite good and it's a short hop to Walla Walla and Wine Valley GC.  IMO that's the best course in the area.

Lots of good wine in Walla Walla and in the TriCities.  My wife has a cousin who has a winery in Walla Walla.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a good start to your weekend and that family and golf is a part of it.

I'm sitting in the parking lot at work getting ready to go in and help with some line changes that'll hopefully make my job easier. We're moving processes around and are planning to make changes to ease up the workload on certain pitches.

It's a beautiful morning here, especially after making it through the pop up shower that I drove through halfway here.

I'm excited we're getting ready to start the Cobra Anniversary Special, I think you all are going to enjoy it.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Have a great day can’t wait to hear how the changes go! Family is always part of my weekend and watching golf is on the menu! Just got the no more kids snip snip and I will be relaxing and warming up a bag of peas while watching Rickie make his come back !

Definitely take it easy after the procedure and enjoy watching golf on tv. I hope we see some continued success from Rickie, he seem like a genuinely good guy and is good for the game.

Good morning spies and happy Saturday. I have to work today so more than likely there will be no golf today other than maybe putting in the basement this afternoon/evening. Forecast is calling for rain this afternoon, we need it bad, so maybe get a round in tomorrow morning.

Have an amazing day!

Good morning everyone, gloomy rainy morning here. No golf this weekend as usual, next weekend play is July 9th league field day. My last 3 rounds were a 42, 43,43, with 2 7s each round. I just can't seem to play a round without 2 bad holes. Play well everyone and have fun.

Good morning all from a cool 60° Wisconsin morning. Going to warm up rapidly and be extremely hot again for our neck of the woods this time of year, but we are supposed to hopefully finally get some rain and temps are supposed to drop tomorrow. Taking down some trees at 8am this morning then nothing else planned for the day. Probably spray some weeds and do some other lawn work, or find something indoors to do. We have an air quality alert again today until 11pm with ratings already in the 100s as I type this. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning Spies on a bright and sunny Michigan morning. A vast improvement over the dreary, rainy Friday that just passed.

For me it is SWMBO birthday, and more than likely will be knocking things of the "Honey Do" list today.

I did get a round in yesterday afternoon, in the rain, and have another round scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. She will go along tomorrow.

Hope your Saturday is the best it possibly can be, no matter what you may have planned.

Good morning all!

Sipping on some hot coffee and watching some light rain outside.  Hoping it holds off because it is field day for our younger baseball leagues and I really hope they don't have to move it.  We'll hopefully be handing out trophies and playing some fun games today down at the fields.

Jackson is already headed out to a Summer Ball game and then we will have another one tomorrow before we head down to Wildwood, NJ for family vacation!

GM everyone!  Up early... coffee already down... starting stretches... then heading for a 6:56am tee time at our sister course.  This will be a test for both my wife and I; our backs are still hurting but getting better.  I made swings yesterday in my hitting bay, and it felt better than when I played on Wednesday.  I will just take it easy and play like a wounded golfer; the alternative is to sit around the house and I need to get out!!
