Small world!! Wedgefield has a nice layout @Rob Person, I enjoy playing the course.  About 3 or 5 yrs ago course was sold and new owner has done an incredible job in getting the course back in good condition.  Greens are nice.  Great course to walk.  
the course used to be considered way out in East Orlando.  Now it's just out in East Orlando as the City & County continue to grow.

Here are some photo's from San Juan, PR. 
this one is of ship approaching to dock Tuesday Morning.  Weather was finally nice, 78 degrees, sunny & windy. 

Our first stop was to visit San Juan Fort, a National Historic Site.  Columbus discovered Puerto Rico in 1527 and Fort was constructed from 1527 to 1590.  The Fort was approx 1 mile form Port, walking distance (all uphill) Puerto Rico is NOT FLAT! LOL. 

The Park is run by U.S. National Park Services.  
This photo below was from the top of the Fort looking over San Juan to the West.  Really cool site, nice morning just a little hazy.  

Here is a photo to the East and FortaLeza it's within a mile of from Castillo San Felipe.  What's impressive there's a stone wall from the main (Fort) CAstillo San Felipe running the entire way to FortaLeza (the top left of photo) - impressive!

After walking over 2 miles to both Fort locations, a much needed break stopping for a Grape Piragua (flavored shaved ice). Very refreshing!

I remember going to the bus races in Bithlo!  I lived in the Conway area for about 5 years.

I could've misread it but I believe the ball lab tests concluded that softer = slower...

If you want more distance off the tee then a firmer ball may suit you better .. of course each individual golfer needs to test and find what works best for them...

Hah! We took the train in, and it was my first time arriving by Long Island railroad in Grand Central terminal .. when I was commuting those tunnels were still being dug and all trains went in and out of Penn Station ...

So... Our whole group is wandering around, almost randomly taking stairs and escalators UP towards street level and it was literally by random chance that we spotted an unmarked single elevator in a dimly lit corner .. that one guy already inside was holding the door open .. that turns out to be *THE* elevator that we needed to get da heck outta there....

they still do the Bus Races @Rob Person, I think buses race on Friday Nights at Bithlo Speedway.  I believe the old bus is still parked out front off of HWY 50 .  Saturday night drag races (the cars ) On a clear night we can hear the races from 8 miles away.

A good friend of mine used to run mud races out there with Chucks Trucks in the early 2000s. When I was there 2 years ago visiting, I couldn't believe how much it changed. What was once barely developed with a few subdivisions is now a whole bunch of it's own fully autonomous communities ( more like their own towns)

It's going to be a busy day.  Daughter is feeling better but I'm afraid the wife is next on the bug list.  Weather is supposed to be nice so I will probably get the kids down to the park so she can get some rest.  

Going to do some hitting into the net today and work thru the Mevo+ some and see if I can figure out the setup a little better to get more accurate readings into my net.

Good morning everyone!

It's going to be a cool day and after all the bad weather lately, I'm just happy not to see liquid falling from the sky.

We're going to a Chinese New Year festival around lunch, my wife has decided this year is for new adventures. We're pretty boring people, so she wants to step out of our comfort zone. 

My coffee is warm, the dogs are settled in beside me, and I get to spend time with the wife. It's going to be a good day.

Good morning spies! I’ve been up for an hour or so and getting caught up on the 24 Hours of Daytona. It’s one of the first signs of spring for me as it kicks off the motorsport racing season.

No solid plans on the day. With it being my only day off this week I really just want to be lazy and sit on the couch, maybe do some putting since it’s close to the couch as well.

I should probably go find some breakfast, hope that everyone has a great Sunday!

Good morning Spies on another rainy, dreary Michigan Sunday.

Temperatures are above freezing at this time, so it is rain, but may turn to snow if the temperatures drop below 32.

Posted a couple videos here for @berkeleybob of the drone show they held Saturday evening above Ford Field in downtown Detroit.

Hoping all goes well for you @Josh Parker, Josh with the health situation and still getting done all you want or need to.

My plans include a trip to Carl's to use the range, get a head start on some presentations for work I need to have completed by next weekend, and then  watch the Lions game.

Good morning fellow golfers, it’s Sunday.  The day of rest.  Not everyone refers to Sunday as the Sabbath, for me it is if it’s not for you I hope it is a day of rest, relaxation and scratch golf!

I do tend to reflect a lot when I’m on the course, one of the reasons I frequently seek opportunities to play a round by myself.  I love being outdoors, in a nice place, with a fun game to play and equipment that while I’m still learning to use it all I have become proficient enough to enjoy myself.

My most often recurring thought is how blessed I am - we all are - to play this game.  I don’t call it lucky, I call it blessed, but regardless we are all certainly privileged.  They say fortune favors the brave; if we’re brave enough to expose ourselves to the elements, to the winds, to the swing of the sticks and the response of the ball, then we are indeed fortunate.

So, fair skies, fair winds, trim fairways and rolling greens is what I wish for you all.  Those that can play today - be grateful, many that read this won’t be able to.  Those that cannot play, ready yourselves and then you can appreciate the opportunity even more when you get out on the course.

Today is cold for some reason, 43⁰  but might hit high 50s by afternoon . Sunday family dinner is on the mind, and think im going to go with combination stuffed manicotti. Currently watching the replay of yesterday's golf tournament,  while slurping down a tall cup of Ethiopian blend coffee.

Good morning spies!

Had a really productive day yesterday. My wife and I donated a bunch of old stuff to Salvation Army, cleaned out our apartment and unpacked some wedding gifts that we hadn't gotten to yet.

Had a fun time seeing Shane Gillis in Milwaukee last night. I wouldn't normally justify driving 3.5 hours roundtrip for a comedy show, but since I was gifted the ticket, I didn't mind it. He's pretty hilarious, but definitely likes to push the limits 

Hopefully will be a chill Sunday. Planning on watching the football and maybe sneaking away to the simulator later if there are spots available.

Good morning spies! Going to be a fine day here in Mesa sun and more sun and warm air. Temps will reach into the 70s this afternoon so I will probably break out the hose and wash the January rains and mud off my golf cart after a trip to the range. Going to take the Garmin launch monitor down and work on the 50 to 110 yard shots for distance control. I can hit 'em where I want but too short or too long seems to be the only options for distance.  Anyway enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning Spies! Had a lot on my mind last night and thus didn't get to sleep until almost 3 a.m. And my furry alarm clocks made sure I didn't sleep in. No plans at the moment but that's always subject to change. Scratch that, one item planned -- a nap. It's going to be nice at the Casa with temps near 70 before cooler air moves in later in the day, so a trip to the playground to hit a few balls is not out of the question. Don't feel like paying $13 for a bucket of balls at the only public-access range in town. To be determined if I watch the NFL games. 

@BigMacQue nice thoughts.

@taylorjonasher I interviewed for a job in Waterloo once. Worked out for the best that I didn't get it, but thought it was a nice town.

Good morning MGSpies from a rainy cold WNY this Sunday where here at my micro estate the snowpack continues to shrink in the above freezing weather here since Monday, but it might not all disappear before it freezes again.  For anyone keeping tabs on what's been going on here for the last couple weeks, this morning's dreary looking photo for comparison.

Nice sleep in again this morning but hate to lose hours of daylight as they are getting longer daily now but still not enough to ward of a good (?) feeling of SADD, so today I choose to be happy because it is a choice I can make and having passive aggressive tendencies I'm just not gonna let Ma Nature call the shots.  Excellent end to the Farmers last night on TV, amazing how golf always gives us what we don't expect!  Hope golf is a part of your day

Good Sunday morning all from the walk-in clinic lobby. Nothing major wrong, just have a plugged ear that is driving me nuts and my attempt to fully clear it at home yesterday failed, so here I am . Should be a pretty quick and simple process. 

Boys had a lot of fun yesterday at Brick Fest! Not sure what is on the agenda yet today, but roads are pretty icy so maybe laying low.

Good morning Spies! Well we're finally getting a break in the weather this week! Highs in the 50s the entire time and no rain. It's been about 3 weeks now of crap weather, but the break comes just in time for my clubs winter 2 man scramble tournament next Saturday! Finally!!!!!

I finally broke down and bought a Garmin R10 for the garage. I built out the frame for the impact screen with some additional support netting behind it. The screen should arrive next week as well. I'll post some photos of my setup when it's done. It's hard to believe I'll finally have a real home practice space besides a hitting net.

Snow flakes already flying here and it’s supposed to be like this all day, but not a ton of snow. But it also wasn’t supposed to be snow yet so we’ll see!

bacon is almost ready and I picked up some egg and chorizo empanadas to try out. 

Then I’m probably banished off to the basement to hang more drywall until kickoff.

No fun. I've had a blockage cleared via irrigation before and it sucked. Felt fantastic afterwards though!
