Yes the kickoff call is for the testers, but Sasho is planning to join us on a community call during the test!

Intro's are all up so bumping this thread back to the top.

We have a tester's only kickoff call coming up this Tuesday and then we should hopefully be able to get our baseline numbers and start the program!

We had our call with Sasho last night and are primed to get rolling with our baselining process. I'm nervous about it but am really interested to find out where I am here at the start and what the program looks like.

I had a demo day "fitting" with Titleist on Friday and found I lost 5mph with the driver in the last 2'ish years, which was a huge eye-opener. So this is going to be extra motivating to both get that 5mph back and then hopefully add another 5 (or more).

I've had the same kind of experience in demo days at my club, down to about 90 mph.  I'm a step ahead, just completed my first full session after doing the Baseline session on Monday.  This will all eventually go into my "First Impressions", but I can say that the PRGR works really simply, right out of the box.  The Stack sessions are clear and well-presented, plenty of instruction on exactly what we should be doing.  I won't comment further right now, really the proof will be in the results.

And like @Shrek74, the video-call with Sasho is pretty motivational, well beyond simply informative.

Finished my baseline test tonight. I thought my baseline speeds would be higher. I am so excited to see how the training  and A.I. can help improve my speed.The app is super user friendly and easy to use.

HT to @Shrek74 for getting the goods shipped out to me so quickly. Hope you're recovering well, amigo!

Really impressed with the build quality. Everything feels premium.

 

If you made me nitpick on my initial impression, there are two things that come to mind:

1. The grip logo and shaft logo aren't aligned (below). In no way does that matter and I'm not going to take points off, but if you wanted an easy win on first impressions, this would communicate to me that you took the extra 3 seconds to line up the grip before you threw it on.
2. I really wish the carrying case for the weights had a little loop or carabiner. I would love to attach this to the outside of my bag for easy access. Again, not a big deal, but a little one-inch loop of fabric would be nice.

Got my baseline numbers last night and I like the way the app really walks you through each step of the process. There's a video for each step that helps you to understand/normalize what's expected, including how you should swing your driver by defining 'full intent.' One thing I'd like to see in a future app update is captions for the videos, though. I didn't bring earbuds and the range was crowded. (Also, I didn't realize there's not an "offline" mode and I was using a wifi-only iPad. Oops. Yay for phone hotspots?)

One thing I'll need to get used to is how much rest there is. Between swings, there's about 15 seconds, which is fine. But between sets, there were a couple of minutes. Might bring a lawn chair to my next session. Then, once I'm finished, it said I needed at least 2 days before starting the Foundations program. For someone who lifts weights or plays golf every day, this felt like a long time between establishing a baseline and actually getting started. Would like to see this a little more personalized to my particularly health and fitness rather than a blanket "take 2 days off" approach.

And if we're just pie-in-the-sky dreaming here, a Garmin integration that could take into account my 'training readiness' would be really cool.

Sorry for the delay spies! I received the stack system and the prgr launch monitor about a week ago. They were packaged perfectly there is no chance of damage during shipping. The launch monitor is small and compact. Easy to use and very portable.  The stack system training club is well balanced and feels comfortable in your hands. There are five milled weights that come in a carrying case. The weights fit the training club perfectly and are easily changeable.  The stack system is well designed and engineered. Very pleased so far.

Just picked up the stack myself after doing super speed before. Will be interested to see how it goes. Happy to share my own thoughts a bit more informally, don't want to detract from out testers that I am sure will do a great job reviewing this product

 Some early impressions.  The PRGR launch monitor works simply, from the first swing.  Clubhead speed seems pretty accurate, compared to recent driver fittings with GC Quad.  Driver speed during a recent warmup was 88 to 90 mph, estimated carry was 200 to 210 yards, which is all pretty consistent with real-life experience.

Stack hardware looks solid, a “club” with a threaded holder at the end.  

5 different weights in a good carrying case.

App installation and initial set up is smooth.  There are videos which clearly (so far) show what I'm going to need to do.  The 15-minute warm-up video shows a number of motions to do to get ready to begin a normal training session, clearly demonstrated by Sasho. 

First impression, this is going to be more of a “workout” that I had pictured.  No pain, no gain!
At this stage I've done the baseline session, and the first six of the planned 18 sessions for the most basic training program, Foundations.  The Baseline had me swinging my driver a few times, and swinging the Stack with a variety of weights.  After each swing, I merely say the swing speed from the PRGR, and the iPad app records it.  The app tells me how long to rest between swings (usually about 15 seconds) and between sets of swings (typically 3 minutes).

Here are the results of that baseline session:

As I understand it, each session's plan is based on the results of the baseline and all the previous sessions.  I've now done 4 sessions, each one has had a slightly different set of weights to use.  A few really good things I've noticed so far.  The Stack app works great, really smooth, although I admit I needed to learn a few shortcuts to find some of the available reports.  The voice recognition is good, although at times I had to turn it off and back on for a new set of swings.  A really minor issue.  The app remembers all of your previous swing speeds, and gives positive feedback when a swing or a set of swings is a new personal best.

So here we are, many of my initial questions have been answered.  The Stack gets 10/10 for First Impressions, everything works perfectly.  The more important question remains, will this really increase my swing speed.  Its early days, but I'm fairly optimistic, I think I'm seeing some gains already.

In my app I can see all of our tester and my own progress as we track through our workouts. Its a motivating and fun way to keep yourself accountable!

I am working on some charts to track our group progress but thought I would share this view today so you can see we’ve all started along the path to more speed!

Did my second session today and was hitting PB's all over the place! My favorite, however, was not captured by the app. After finishing the protocol, I hit exactly one driver with a Vice Pro I found and was ready to... lose.

I am very impressed with the stack system so far. I would give a 10/10 . I have seen some speed improvements in my first four sessions. I can’t wait to see where I end up!!

Just got this in the mail today and already completed foundations. I agree with @GregGarner that as someone who has speed trained before and is generally in good shape taking two days off feels like a lot. Off to the foundations program to start.
