Jimmybagofdounuts
I love dividers. In June of 23' I decided to replace my Taylormade 2019 Tour cart bag for a new Sun Mountain C-130 Cart Bag due to the tour bag's weight. That thing is heavy! This new 1, It has the full length dividers and is very well built and WAY lighter! Taylormade bag has 6 chambers and it was hard getting clubs in and out. greyhounds15
I love my TaylorMade 14 slot cart bag plenty of room for the clubs without him rubbing against each another. Plus the other pockets for storage. Love the cooler bag. Will keep six drinks cold for 2 hours with a ice pack or ice if you want to put it in. Two pockets for keys in such but I like most about these is you don't have to keep looking for your where your club is. It's third properly speeds up. The time looking for them. Great bag. Had other 14ers like to just as good the 5 and 7 slot bags. You would get your clubs tangled up too much. That's why I don't like about those. fozcycle
I have a 15 way and really like how the dividers set up the clubs, even though the partitions are only 3 sections. The bag is a Vice cart bag, purchased from Walmart for $125 after they moved it to the wrong platform and was $270. Anyway, has plenty of pockets and is easy to use. jbern
I have always used 5 way divider bags mostly because I like to walk and 5 way bags are much smaller and lighter. I also think they’re easier to clean and I’ve never had a problem with the organization piece for the 5 way divider. Now that I use a pushcart or powered cart, I could probably look into the larger 14 divider bags. The NevrLooz bag caught my eye last year: They’re not sexy, but seem extremely functional. I don’t necessarily mean this in a derogatory sense, but from a certain angle, the bag sort of reminds me of a gutted fish. Particularly when it’s full of clubs. I have a lighter stand bag that I use for walking/push cart, and then I have a cart bag. The stand bag has only 4 dividers and it's great for that purpose. The cart bag pictured below I picked up for Christmas and it has 15 way individual dividers that extend the length of the bag. It makes it easier to pull clubs out of a cart and put them back in. Rob Person
In my early morning rabbit hole of research, fascination with wanting a new bag, amazon searches, etc, another thing to consider is some of the companies say that the external putter wells, (and separate top putter slots) are not designed for oversized grips. So be mindful. And I've realized there may be some compromise with features vs price point. Finding tons of 14/15 - TOP- divider options, but not alot with full length dividers to match (again, sub 150 price point) Would a good top divider negate the need for it being full length to the bottom? Also, do they make a of universal divider top to purchase separately, that would snap to the rain cover snaps maybe? sirchunksalot 1 Quote WITB-Foremost 551's - 3w, 5w, 5-SW (circa 1998), Top Flite 460cc Driver, Adam's 7w, Warrior GW and 60⁰, Odyssey AI-One DB putter. StrokerAce
I've tried them all, 5 way, 3 way, 7 way, 14 way... I even had an insert that I bought years and years ago that would hold each club so it didn't rattle. I have a Callaway 14 way now and it's....fine; works better on the pushcart than the stand bag. I also have a Callaway stand bag that's a 5 way and it's also... fine; good for traveling and when riding in a cart since you can bring your bag to the range and not have it falling down all the time. I won my golf league last 2 years and had shop credit; outside of a few shirts these were the only things I was interested in. I probably wouldn't have bought them myself. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had a bag that I've *really* liked. Bags are hard to get rid of; I think I have 4 or 5 in my basement.
