Congratulations testers. Very interested in hearing your experience. I just received their new QI10 5 wood. Played yesterday for the first time  and the jury is still out. Great looking club. Hope you guys find great success with the driver.

Excelllent question @revkev.  In my case, I am not gaming any Taylormade clubs at present.  I really liked the Qi10 in my fitting, am humbled by this opportunity, and pumped for this test!

About The TaylorMade Qi10 Series

The series of drivers consists of three models: the Qi10 Max, Qi10 LS (low spin), and Qi10 Standard. Each has slightly different weight placements, but only the LS model includes a moveable weight.

The shorter version is TaylorMade has leveraged a multi-material design, relocated mass, and improved shapes to achieve maximum forgiveness within each model while claiming to still retain all the speed (and therefore distance) characteristics.

Other big changes to the driver include the face and crown. Where previous versions for years had a clear distinction between where the titanium support met the carbon crown, the Qi10 features a clean glossy black crown with a new blue carbon face. The blue replaces the red of the Stealth models and is their third generation of carbon driver face.

I currently game a Ping G430. I always go for forgiveness over length off the tee. I’m interested to see if the Taylormade Max will give me both.

First off thanks to MGS for this opportunity and looking forward to my first test and review in a few years.  To answer @revkev I have not had a TM driver in my bag since a short stint with the R1 and before that it was the R7 and R510TP.  I do still have my driver from my Freshman year of college golf which was a TM Burner with the old gold shaft that I think was made by Aldila.  Would be willing to do numbers on each of them if it interests anyone.

Great question, and thank you to all of you for the support. There is not a doubt in my mind this will be an amazing test, even though I am still in disbelief. 

As for the Stealth, I am in the same boat as the other testers who gave replies, never had the chance to use it. The only other TaylorMade driver I have swung is an R11 which a buddy of mine has. It was fit shorter for him so it happened to not be for me.

Following up on @revkev's question, while I do not play TaylorMade now, I have lined up a chance to borrow a friend's Stealth 2 for the duration of the test.  Comparisons will be forthcoming!

I have a vested interest in this as I'm upgrading all my clubs and first one is my driver.  I have mostly Cobra Amps that I got from a buy and sell years ago and now that I'm starting to break 100 I decided to upgrade everything.  Wife got me a new bag and son got me a 52 for xmas.  My putter is a old Nike mallet but I like it so not in a rush to replace that.
