Very nice work, I like all the little touches like the holes in the neck, the "mismatched" stamping, and of course the shape is very nice.

That would be the Flat Black polymer finish, shot just a little "wet" to give it just a hint of satin. If we go too flat, the paint fill likes to hang on, just a bit, but the look is not drastically different. In person, this finish looked amazing.

Thanks for noticing the detail stuff. I like to put just a bit of creativity to work on each and every putter, but some guys really don't want to stray from the norm. This customer had purchased a similar putter, from the original MannKrafted First Run, but sold it and had some regrets. When I created this shape, I nearly bought it from the company to put in my bag. It just flows, so nicely. I tried several different necks on it, with temporary bonding and it was a tough call to say which one looked best. When the customer chose the plumbers neck, I knew that a standard neck just wouldn't do, . A little dressing here and there can be just what the doctor ordered, sometimes.

Thanks again and I can't wait to hear the owner's thoughts when it is in his hands and dropping long putts on Bethpage Black.

Most folks know that LaMont and I are partners in Sunset Beach and while we do dabble some in Black Oxide, we prefer the Polymers that LaMont has been using for years for our putters because of the maintenance issues with Black Oxide.

That totally makes sense. No, I was referring to Dave's almost freakish ability to spot the particulars of any putter finish from any putter company just from viewing a pic.

When things are cool, I pay attention.

They have a white head finish that is totally rocking. I will use that one for sure when I place a Sunset Beach order. Not if, when btw.

I love the white, the paintfill pops off of it like crazy. I'm a big fan of Lamont's MannKrafted model. Not sure what model that is in the SSB line, but he does such a wide variety of things with it.

Just a note on the polymer finish. I have had this finish from LaMont on a couple of putters and it is VERY durable. Just treat the putter with this finish with care to avoid nicks and scratches and it will last forever. Great option if you like black but don't want the trouble that comes with black oxide.
