Haha. I mean his swing is probably less damaging to the legs with all the movement, but I don't expect to gain the performance.  I will say, I just did some stretching with it and am impressed with the feel.

Now that’s one I’ll be on the lookout for. I’ve made a DIY version by connecting a similar length bar to a crossover symmetry band. Doesn’t quite work the same but can do some of the same exercises. Hope you find it as good as the marketing suggests!

I like the canvas covered bands it comes with.  First little stretching session and I like what I see so far. Don't know that I'm going to pay for their subscription but have found plenty to do just searching online.

I’d imagine as it’s been out a little while now there should be some workout variations on YouTube and social media to pick and choose from and build your own. 👍🏻

I’ve done that with workout equipment in the past.

I have recently purchased a Callaway Great Big Bertha 3 wood 🪵 👌.  I love how this club has a sweet sound of the ball when it connects, very solid . The grip is a little too slim for my liking although very comfortable and soft. Moved  it from 15 degrees to 17 and like it much more. Hitting it around 200 yds very nicely.  Overall I love this club.

20240414_175828.jpg

I played this 7 wood most of the season (I didnt use stock shaft though) and I got my father the 5 wood of this club that he still plays with the Helium senior flex. These are really forgiving and long woods. The 3 wood dialed up a bit would be a great choice and the Helium shaft will help lift it up. These are one of the more rare FWs that are all titanium incuding the face. They were asking 400 at first but at the price you can get these for, one of the best options. I hit the driver version really well too. My only gripe was I didnt like the color looking down but I was able to sell it for more than I got it for and it doesnt bother my father. That 5 wood is very long and they do sound great.

Well, rather than make the decisions not to walk after almost passing out in the 108 degree heat yesterday I made the club ho decision to make walking slightly easier.  Full disclosure, I've been thinking about this for a while, but I found it used on Ebay with local pickup.... So tomorrow I'll be picking up an Alphard Club booster 2 with an extra battery, Click Gear Rovic R1S, travel case, TFS system, a seat that I may or may not keep, and storage bags for both.  All at an exceptionally fair price -- a price that will be offset even further when I sell my current push cart.

Good pickup!! Got an Alphard kit for my wife's Bag Boy Quad XL (after she gifted me an MGI Zip Navigator) and it's been working great for a few seasons now.

On your Clic Gear suggest you hold onto the seat - you won't use it often but when there's a slowdown and you wanna take a break it's a nice convenience to have right there.

Just bought a TM MG4 48 degree wedge. Upgraded from my old 48 wedge I bought for cheap years ago. Probably the most used club in my bag. Played a round yesterday and only had a chance to use it once so TBD if its worth it.

I'll try to remember to get some pics .. and post more in your cart thread .. to help explain, but the most important component are the clamps - ordered specific to this cart from their supported models - that not only hold the battery/motor in place but also brace it against the frame so the torque is delivered to the wheels.

Fyi the cart cannot be folded up with the motor attached, so clamps also open back up to detach the motor.

Oh and did buy something yesterday - 2 grips. I know I know very boring but now, for possibly the first time, I actually have the same matching grip (MCC+4 Mid) on every club (except the putter of course)!

Just purchased a new rangefinder. I’ve had a Nikon Coolshot for the last 7 years and was happy with it.
It started to act up by giving me 3 or 4 readings every time I used it and was a big range of 150 to 200 yard difference. Frustrating when you know you are 100 to 120 yards and you get 250 - 300 on the screen. A friend suggested that I change the battery but didn’t make a difference.
I started to look at reviews, specs, requirements like slope and cost to determine what I wanted.
I went into my local golf shop to look at a few different rangefinders and settled on the Shot Scope Pro ZR.  I’m a Shot Scope user for my game tracking so it also made sense.

IMG_5521.webp.87d94418cb5a0daab8a4153394df2524.webp

It has all the features that I wanted, including the cart magnet, slope etc and the price was in my budget!  I’ve used it twice now and I’m really happy with my choice!
If your in the market for a rangefinder make sure you look at this model!

I’ve looked at them over the last month and saw this one @ $140. The shaft is a little heavy for me but I have several shafts I can switch out with including a Newton. It hit a Max over the weekend with both a regular and a stiff shaft. It was really good. I went with the LS model for lower spin. Should have kept my old one. But alas, sometimes I do dumb things. 😂 Gonna bring it to Austin with me. BTW when should I make the tee times for Austin? Are they usually one week out like my course? And what is your “goat pasture”?

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.
