Caddytek buggies

OTG

Recommended Posts

I came across these Caddytek buggies recently... Price seems amazing for what you get. Comes with a lot of accessories that others charge extra for.

Has anyone got any reviews on these? I'm weighing up between the 3-wheel and 4-wheel ones - so could use an opinion on the benefits each of those also... I have only ever used a pretty cheap compact buggie.

Haven't seen one in the big box stores yet. Where did you spot these.

I've seen them on the course. A couple I know have them and like them. Costco I think.

I just saw an add come up after I was looking at Clicgear buggies... Over here in Australia, they seem to be available online only, but as mentioned, in the States they're at Costco (unsure which version).

Any thoughts on 3 Vs. 4 wheels?

One of my buddies has the 4 wheel version and loves it.....it's much more stable than a 3 wheel clic gear

Went with the 4 wheels... Folds down a bit more compact.

I've got the 4 wheeled red one in your pictures. Love it. It's now coming to the end of its second full season. No issues at all. Smooth rolling, solid. I bought it for the value it provides. It has large storage at back wheels. It had a bag at the handle that carries my scope, phone, and other accessories. There is a closeable holder under the scorecard holder. I keep pencils there but it's large enough for other things.

The four wheels are very stable. Better than 3 IMO. Umbrella holder is good, but I keep it folded out of the way most of the time. I'm too tall to use an umbrella for shade with it t though at 6'4". It is handy though to keep the rain off clubs.

The cooler bag is excellent and will hold 4 12oz cans (snuggly). I put in 3 easily. This was an important factor for me. Water bottle holder is convenient and the correct size. Holds beer cans well too.

Missing though is something to hook a towel to. I added a therapy for that. Also, I'd like it to have a sand bottle holder as putting in the back bag is awkward and the bottle wants to fall over.

Has a hill brake, but I don't use it.

I highly recommend this. A true value for your money

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I'm only 6'2" and I found the umbrella to be a bit short, but I think it would be the same no matter which buggy...

No hook for sand bucket and/or towel was my only real issue.
