The heel or the toe?

I've been hitting everything out of the heel lately and it has leg to some shanking problems!  I would absolutely love to hit it off the toe right about now!  What about you guys would you rather miss it off the heel or the toe?

As someone who has suffered from these, it is as simple as changing your mindset. Take a small bucket of balls and try to hit everyone on the toe. As far out as possible.

Spray the face of your club with foot powder and work on hitting heel, center and toe;  this will help you be able to hit the center more often.   Read some of the Adam Young stuff on impact location.

It really depends on the severity, but if we're only talking a slight miss then I'd say toe. At the very least it doesn't feel as penalizing.

Is that the "Practice Manual- The Ultimate Guide"? I'm looking for another good instruction book to read.

Haven't read his book.   Found the drill in one of his golf hack documents he gives away and heard it on some webinars.   You can find it here:

A miss in the heel, that obviously isn't a shank, is preferred. Especially off the driver, 3w and hybrid for me

Depends on the club. With more toe weighting in modern clubs the forgiveness area has moved towards the toe a bit. Old style blades you had to hit it close to the heel.
