Gotta update the rest with pics (I'll list the bag though), but I just redid the paintfill on the flatstick again (was bored). (Before you read, my setup and specs are quirky, but they're what works for me and I'm picky about my builds so I do all of my own work)

 

Driver:

-TMag RBZ Tour 9 degree cranked to the most open setting (lower) on an R11 tip (1 degree tip, not 1.5) w/ Talamonti PD70 Tour X flex tipped 1.25" and built at 44.75"

 

Fairways (alternate depending on course):

-TMag R11S 15.5 degree w/ Talamonti PD80 Tour X tipped 1.75" and built at 43" cranked lower 1.5 degrees

-Nike SasQuatch 13 degree w/ Aldila NV 85X tipped 1.25" and built at 43.25" (ghosted this one in white polymer) bent 1* open

-Nike SqII Monorail 18 degree w/ Talamonti PD80 Tour X Tipped 2" and built at 41.75" (ghosted in white polymer)bent 1.25* open

 

Hybrid:

-TMag Rescue11 4/21 degree w/ Talamonti H100 Tour X tipped 1" and built to 39.75"

 

Irons: (normally use 5 iron down, sometimes throw in 4 iron and remove hybrid or a wedge)

-Tour Issued Adams A4 Tour Black w/ DG Tour Issue S300 hardstepped once and built off of a 38 5/8" 5 iron with 1/2" deviations through the set (have 3-PW, don't use 3 iron ever, use 4 iron occasionally, generally carry 5-PW). Bent 2 degrees upright

 

Wedges:

-Ping Eye2 W bent to 51 degrees w/ TiSandvik Titanium shaft (don't remember flex, it was the stock shaft and I've never changed it since I picked it up a dozen or so years ago) built to 35.75"

-Tour Department Scratch 56* and 60* conforming wedges w/ DG Spinners build to 35.5"

-Callaway X-Forged Vintage 64 degree w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 8iron shaft built to 35.25"

 

ALL CLUBS ABOVE:

Built to D4 swingweight, irons and wedges are blueprinted, spined and FLO'd as well. Talamonti shafts are all MOI OPtimized in the playing position and the SasQuatch was Spined and FLO'd.

 

Grips:

-GolfPride New Decade MCC midsize on driver and fairways w/ 4 wraps under right hand, 1 under left

-Lamkin R.E.L 3gen midsize w/ 3 wraps under right hand, none under left hand on irons and GW

-Lamkin Performance Plus 3gen midsize w/ 4 wraps under right hand, 1 under left and grip stretched down 1/2"

 

Putters:

-Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport Beach 2 Prototype Centershaft w/ Scotty Pistolero grip w/ 2 wraps under right hand (gotta redo the leadtape I had on the sole because I finally removed it and did the paintfill there)

-TMag Itsy Bitsy Spider Japan CS (disassembled and ghosted head and shaft as well as added 25 grams to cavity under soleplate). Has red urethane AGSI face off the tour van and Iomic Lime Green Large grip

-SeeMore FGP Brass that I ghosted and added 45 grams to the headweight via the cavity. Has Iomic White Large

 

 

Headcovers vary on the Scotty and SeeMore, I have 4 or 5, including 2 customs by Delilah.

 

Bag: TMag TMX standbag

 

Balls: TMag Penta TP5 or Titleist ProV1X or TMag TP Red w/ LDP (when I can find them and stock up) or Srixon Zstar X Diamond

Very nice, I have to ask one question, what is the pink paint you used? That is pretty close to the color I really wanted to use on my last redo on my own flatstick and couldn't find a shade I really liked. One other question, the sound slot on the putter, guessing done after the fact right? If so who did it an how do you like it?

The sound slot is stock on that putter (hence the Beach name). It's a prototype never released to retail. The pink is a nailpolish I found at Target. I had Mr. Color paint I bought at hobby town, but that paint was terrible. Saw this pink and it looked intriguing, so I bought it (don't worry, my wise was buying make-up is why I was even there).

Rev it's not looking too promising right now. The sis-in-law has to have the BF out of town (he's supposed to be going on a fishing trip, that got cancelled because the friend's boat they were going out on has had a major failure. They're trying to plan another trip though). We'll be coming to Tampa sometime because she lives there now but it's not a condo renting trip according to my wife (she's frugal lol). I'll let you know when we head that way though, and it'll be in advance.

 

As far as my son goes, no, he's not there yet, but I did build him a 7 iron because he always wants my clubs and they're waaaaaaay too long. Wedge is next, just waiting on the right time. It'll be a raw blank I'll cut down and grind for him.

I just did my first paint fill with nail polish. How do you do it that precise? When I did it I simple covered the areas with nail polish, then used nail polish remover to get the excess on the sides off.

By precise I mean being able to use different colors next to each other.

I can imagine the practice. Looks pretty sweet when it's done though. I'm gonna have to get some needle tip bottles, those clubs all look great, I want to start doing paint fill on all my clubs. What kind of paint do you use?

Keep forgetting to snap new pics. That said, 2 new toys have come in to tinker with. First, I bought an R9 4 wood to tinker with. I ended up stripping and ghosting it, as all my woods and hybrids are ghosted. I'm installing a spare Talamonti PD80 I have lying around in it.

 

Today, had another arrival. LOL. Got in a Tour Issued TMag Superfast 2.0 TP version 2 3 wood at 14.8 degrees of loft and 4 or so degrees open. I immediately slapped an Aldila Phenom in it and it's drying now. Looks like I'm in for more testing sessions to come, lol.

Tour issue clubs come off the van with the exact specs on a spec sticker. I'll post pics of it later today if I can remember (I ordered a new camera too, so my pics will be improving in about a week. Got a new Nikon DSLR). I just hotmelted it a few minutes ago, so that's sitting to "dry".

I just went back to page 1, first pic. WOW! Seriously, there are nice bags, and there are great bags(I'd put mine somewhere in between..LOL), but your bags are incredible. BTW, how'd ya like the TI R11s? What was the offset on the 4-7i?

I liked them, but the toplines were a bit chunky for me. The offset was constant offset (like the R9 C's). It was 0.8mm on those.

Well, weather sucks out and since I finished the club up I remembered to take some pics.

 

Superfast 2.0 v2 3/15 at 14.8 degrees and 4 deg open. Hotmelted to 209.8 grams and has a D3.5 swingweight with a RIP Phenom 70 X tipped 1".

Wow, four degrees is a lot to be open. What makes you choose to make it that open? What kind of performance do you see different than neutral? Do you have trouble hitting draws/have your misses be slices?

Very interested in this, I have never really known about customization of face angle besides a degree or two on drivers, or like my i15 driver and old three wood they were slightly fade biased, I believe two degrees.

It's different for different clubs. Lots are closed or square from the factory, some are set open. I like mine set open as well because I roll my wrists a lot during my swing to create more speed. This gets me back to square and a straight ball flight. Having a square club has always led to me either having to slow my swing or to line up way right. I've always found that clubs work best for me when they set up open, at least on the longer ones.

Well, redid the paintfill on the Scotty and have some better pics to show. I'm waiting on the irons to get back from The Iron Factory before I post the new babies up. Anyway, on with the pics right?

 

 

Yes, there's heavy lead tape on the bottom (several layers as well as a little extra near the heel as I needed to alter the toe hang a little). I changed the sitelines to translucent blue to see if that contrasts better. This is my gamer headcover as well. The grip is a Pistolero that I alternated red, white, and blue in the dancing Cameron logo. It's still drying or I'd have pics of it too.
