I recently scored a sweet deal on EBay for a XXIO Prime X 5 Wood.  In near-new condition, but, no cover.  I sent a message to XXIO asking if I could purchase a new/used head cover, explaining I got the club used.  Their response was to send me a new one free.  (All three seem to be the same company/distributor, which is fine.)

Last year, I managed to break my used, 3 Wood shaft, when installing grips.  They simply asked that I ship it to them.  Two weeks later I got a re-shafted club free of charge.

This is awesome feedback, Deadskins, and kuddos to SRI sports for making the extra effort! It's not often you see that level of customer service, and it creates brand loyalists for sure.

Definitely how you maintain customers. It goes above and beyond what people expect lately and in this sort of economy and social media those types of responses are what can turn more people on to a brand.

I've had similar experience, but mine dates to an actual club.  In college I had a 4 year old Hibore hybrid that I actually hit a hole in the face.  Probably too many rocks, I mean range balls.  No questions asked, they sent me a new club (updated to the latest similar type) for free.  Something I'll always remember, even 13 years later.  That went such a long way for a broke college kid.
