Titleist T300 Replacements

Hello - Was deciding between Ping G425s and the Titleist T300's.  Been playing less and less so I wanted added forgiveness and distance.

Have decided on the T300's but recall these came out in 2019; so was inquiring if anyone knew if a replacement would be out anytime soon.

Titleist's release cycle will be later this year & won't release to the public until the beginning of next year.  T300's are nice irons!  Very forgiving.  I have them at the top end of the bag ...  4 & 5 iron.  

I'm sure @Golfspy_CG2would be able to verify.

BTW I was also thinking of mixing but starting at 8 to GW.

T300's really help with getting the ball airborne quickly & very forgiving sole interaction.  

I have the T200's 6 - PW & T300 4 & 5 ... I wish they would have made a 3 iron.  They are that good & I like long irons vs a hybrid

Not exactly true according to my latest info. They are still on schedule for a late summer/early fall release.

The new line is stunning.  I got fitted for the 200's earlier but didn't pull the trigger.  Kind of glad I didn't because I definitely like the new line better.  May try to incorporate the 300's in my higher irons to add some more forgiveness.

Looks like I’m getting the T300’s for winning the US Open pool. Gonna get the Fubuki Senior shaft.

How did those shafts work for you?

I have the 2019 model and like the distances and accuracy.  One of my playing partners has the new model and they are more refined and he likes them better than the 19 model.  Am aging and will be 76 next month and finally realized that I just need to hit one more club.  Need to take my current set in and have the lofts checked and maybe have them decreased one degree.  We should have our lofts checked on an annual basis.  Was fitted and am playing with the True Temper AMT Red R300 shafts.

The Fubuki MV shafts do not feel too whippy, but seem pretty good.  I am getting the ball up better than my regular shafts and they do seem more accurate.  Still working on that.

Did you get new irons yet? If not, I’d strongly recommend trying out the stealth irons. That’s what I’m gaming now and they are the most forgiving set of irons I’ve ever played. Very hot faces so they really launch the ball.

I looked at T300 but got T400 which came out after T300. The T400 w/graphite shafts are very forgiving and crazy long. I was and am a Ping guy but was not happy with Ping’s recent irons - I had Ping I20s and loved them but it was time to get new irons since they were stiff steel shafts. Worth looking at them.

Has anyone had “supply issue “ problems with getting their new irons? I turned 70 earlier this year and my wife said she would buy me a new set of irons for my bd. I got fitted on 7/14 @ CC. I have a set of Ping G5 irons that I bought when they first came out. Wanted to stay w/Ping, just couldn’t hit the G425s. Anyway, bought the TM Stealth irons w delivery date of 4-6 weeks. Delivery has been pushed back to mid October! Anyone else have this problem? TIA

This has been an issue for the last year.  Some have posted of cancelling orders after waiting 6 months or more.  It is something of a crapshoot.  Ask the retailer you ordered through to call Taylormade and ask what is holding up the order.  Sometimes, it is that the grip you ordered is on back order and changing the grip selection will get them built quickly.  Same with shaft choice.  Good luck.

Yes I demoed them and I agree with you.  Now just waiting for the new Mizuno 923's and then will decide.

Talked to them, again, and they told me it was the heads that were back ordered. They have the shafts,(Ventus Red), and grips,(GolfPride Tour wrap), in stock. I did get 10% discount for delay.
