Shaft question?

I went through true golf fit and my first recommendation included the Fujikura Ventus Blue 5 regular shaft. That appears to be an expensive upgrade of over $300 from the standard shaft of the suggested Callaway driver.  My question how much improvement would I see in this club through the use of the upgraded shaft??  My handicap is 12.7 .  Current driver is epic speed with a senior shaft.

The Fujikura Ventus is a stock shaft in some of the Callaway drivers this year.

What driver were you fit too?

Did the output from the fit say it was ventus with velocore or just ventus (also I don’t know if the system distinguishes)

The blue 5R non velocore is a Callaway made for shaft and isn’t really available after market and definitely isn’t going to cost $300+.

If it’s the velocore version then for most of the OEMs that’s an upcharge shaft and is less than the $300+ Aftermarket except for titleist.

Truegolffit only provides stock shafts.  If you go to callaway site, you can simply change the shaft to the Ventus from the default shaft with no upgrade cost.
