Popular Post IndyBonzo
Good morning, Spies! It's another cold day in Indiana, but it looks like the weather will break next week. Maybe I can sneak out then. For now, I could not golf if I wanted to, since I slipped on my own clothes last night after letting the dogs out, and now my lower back is a disaster. This is a little worrisome since I don't typically have back trouble. Of course, I feel pretty good sitting in a desk chair, so I can still work; but walking is to be avoided as much as possible. I guess I will make the most of a day or two working from home. For those in better weather, I hope you get to golf today. Make the day a good one Spies! The excited chatter would quickly fizzle out and the meeting would tailspin into the ground. So I hope your meetings go well without an engineer like me in attendance . Good morning spies! Holy crap the greens were fast yesterday! Combined that with brutally hard pin placements (several of the greens pins were in places that if your ball rolled by the flag at a speed that would carry it a foot past the hole rolled an additional 10 feet and clean off the green) made for a frustrating day. But, at least I got out and played. Another picking day. We have a Ruby Red grapefruit tree to pick today. These are wonderful! Arrived for heart procedure at 9am yesterday; started at 10:30am; done at 11:30am; left hospital at 4:30pm. Heart surgeons don't get paid enough IMO!! Can't bend my right wrist for 24 hours and only minimally after that for another 24 hours. A stent was put in each of two arteries on the left side of my heart; now I'm balanced with the two they put in the artery on the right side two weeks ago. Should be able to swing a club in a few days and start exercising again. Hopefully by then the temp will be above freezing and the snow and ice will be gone. 16º now but another snowstorm arrives at 10am and last 24 hours. At least I will get to watch some golf in La Quinta today at the American Express; I'll be there in 26 days learning... again... how to hit out of bermuda grass. Practicing for Kingsmill in May!!!!! Popular Post TSauer
Top of the morning to ya! Thursdays are the only days I travel to the office, and it never gets any easier. Anyone else just sort of zone out on your commute and then your mind wanders off on another adventure but then all of a sudden you reach your destination, your adventure ends, and you have no recollection of the drive? Because that was me this morning. Looking forward to the community call, so long as work doesn't get wild. Thinking about hitting the sim this evening to get some definitive driver numbers so we can start experimenting. Have a swell day, everyone!
