That has seemed to be the norm this year too with the heat. Our course has been closing afternoons recently because of no play due to the heat.

Good morning everyone!

It's another gorgeous morning here and I'm sad I'm having to spend it at work. It's in the mid 60's with an expected high of 83 today. Does work not know I need to be out on the golf course? 

Hopefully it'll be a good day here and will fly by. I honestly need to go home and do some yard work I've neglected the last couple of weeks due to sickness and injury. I'm feeling the peer pressure since both of my neighbors have mowed.

Good morning spies, another lovely start to the day here. It’s due to change after tomorrow though with strong winds and possibly rain by the weekend. I’m hoping it holds off and stays dry until after my comp on Friday. 
Managed to get a round in yesterday and had an awesome round matching my PB. I always find it strange that often when I don’t play for a week I then play really well so now I’m debating whether to play again before the comp or hope the same happens if I don’t. I’ll update the Me and My Golf glove thread with details. 
@Byrnzee enjoy your trip to Italy. We got married in Rome and usually go back a couple of times a year. 
@Erin B hope you’re feeling better soon

Good morning MGSpies from still dark and chilly downtown on an unseasonably fall like summer morning with high expected in the mid 60s on this in the office workday, sitting outside the office building with Ulrich Schnauss' Enfield on Pandora setting a mystical tone to begin this day of adventure.  After work begins the trip to the HOPE session in Rush before heading home with just enough time for a wind down before bedtime.  These are the good days and each one is a gift, like the early announcement of the next meetup in May/June timeframe. Hope golf is a part of your day

Well it’s in the 50’s this morning , football starting in high school this week so it’s fall golf for another 3-4 weeks then back to Florida for the season , hopefully I’ll get to participate more there as the Ohio summer has been way less golf due to life ! Enjoy the day brothers and sisters !

Busy day ahead and quite jealous of the cooler weather post!  We have a high of 105* today....  After getting the kiddo off to school, I'm heading to the range to do some testing of the PXG irons against the Srixons and running some numbers.  Then it's off to the real job that pays some bills.

Good morning Guys, 

I had a fun weekend at camp. We didn't win anything in the tournament but it was fun anyway. On Saturday it rained so hard on the back nine it was miserable to the point that even with my rain cover on the bag my grips were still wet and it was hard to hold onto the clubs. I darn near launched my driver and could feel it slipping on the downswing and must have gripped it harder and sent my ball way left probably 200 yards up into the woods. It was still fun anyway. 

Not sure if I will play tonight because I have my car all torn apart at the moment.

Good morning! It's been a while since I've contributed to this thread - sorry for slacking, it's been crazy busy and I've been crazy lazy! Heading to the gym for pull day, knocking out a bunch of paperwork, then prepping for first flag football practice for my 7 year old this evening. I haven't played organized football since 2000 and somehow was roped into coaching, I really don't know what relevant things I am going to teach these kids! I was a kick return guy and receiver, so maybe we'll just work on hitch routes and questionably legal crack blocks for the next 4 weeks. Going to try to get out sometime in the next few days before I take some customers out on Friday. I hope everyone has a productive Tuesday - go get some and make it great!

Good morning Spies!

Cooler day in Chicago with temps in the high 60s/low 70s after weeks of 80s. I don't mind it as the weather in Italy is likely to be high 80s/low 90s the whole time we're over there. One day down for the week and only 2.5 to go for me - my wife was smart enough to take Wednesday/Thursday off work, I only took a half day Thurs. I can't complain though, it'll be well worth the wait to have nearly two weeks off work.

Unfortunately, when taking my dog for our afternoon walk yesterday, I realized he had terrible diarrhea. With our trip coming up so soon I called the vet and they told me to bring in a fecal sample so they could analyze it. They also gave me some chewable tablets for him that should help solidify things. Fun way to spend $150 in about 15 minutes  luckily he already seems to be on the mend, which is good news given our trip is so soon. He's getting spoiled with boiled chicken and rice for a few days so I don't think he minds.

Went to the range last night and I definitely think something is clicking with the swing. I need a lot of reps to get my body used to how it's supposed to move in the downswing, but I am optimistic that better golf is ahead of me. Will try to get back out there either today or tomorrow most likely. Need to squeeze in as much golf as possible before two weeks off. Already trying to schedule tee times for when I return

Good morning MGS! The work week grind is in full effect and as a bonus my wife and kids are passing from denial right into frustration that school is starting up again soon. Haha. Another day full of meetings for me. But if I'm lucky I'll be able to get to the course today. We are getting to the point in the season where ya gotta take advantage of every opportunity for soon the fluffy white stuff will be here...

There is nothing wrong with teaching a bunch of prospective receivers how to properly execute a a revenge block. I'm sorry I meant to type crack back not revenge, I'm not sure what happened there. Having assisted in coaching in my boys flag league and the first year they each played tackle I can say it was an adventure that's for sure! Have fun man

Good morning all, 

What a terrible example of engagement I am. lol It has been a wild summer/year. To catch everyone up, it doesn't look like I will break 85 this year. I honestly am having a hard time getting out to play like I want to. Right now averaging once a month if I am lucky since testing the Ghost bag. As much I miss playing 3-4 times a week and hitting the range a lot, i believe that spending time at home right now after work is more important. Seeing my daughter make leaps in her learning has been so fun to watch, and seeing the joy in my wife has been exciting to see. I think AC is getting close to the age, where I can get her on the course to ride with me, and then I will be back out alot. Also, in the middle of a job transitation. This is one that I can honestly say was placed into my lap, and that I am leaving an organization that I consider family. It is a hard move, but one that has to happen in order for me to grow. I hate that I haven't been able to see the threads lately, or catch up on what is going on in yall's lives. This is still one of the best communities to be apart of. As always, BE THE BLESSING!

So I sit here today patiently working not at all thinking of picking up my phone every 5 seconds to see if I have any luck in the Callaway Apex Instagram giveaways happening today. It's cool here today 53 currently with a high of 67! kinda of enjoying the low temps aft all the high 80;'s and 90's we had. Good morning spies! Another busy day today with a training in the morning and meetings all afternoon. I am really hoping that I can sneak out to the golf course and get a round in, as I think that would be a great way to break up this busy week. Yesterday was the first day that all staff members were back in the buildings and getting ready for the school year. It felt great to see everyone's faces and have some great interactions before the start of the school year. I'm excited to get the year rolling and get back into a routine schedule!
