Morning all!

Been really dragging since coming back from vacation. Normally rearing to go at work but struggling the past week....Thank goodness there is golf in my future because I need a pick me up!

Playing at the ranch in Southwick, MA. Top 15 course in Massachusetts and that's including private clubs. Pretty pumped will be my first go at this course.

It’s been a long time but yes it is a very nice course, was a good day trip for us in CT.

Good Morning everyone!!  Beautiful weather has moved in; highs only in the 90's for the next several days and the best part is it cools off to 60º at night; unusual for this time of the year.  Not much going on today, but I think SWMBO has some plans I don't know about yet.

Unlimited hydroplanes are in town for racing on the Columbia River this weekend.  Just not the same with the turbine engines from helicopters; there was nothing like the roar of the old Allison V-12 engines, but the turbines are much more reliable.

I miss the Gold Cup races that were held on the Detroit River annually, and I wholeheartedly agree with the days of past Allison, merlin, and Rolls Royce engines roaring through the water.

Good morning all,

a cloudy morning in the Caribou of British Columbia, today is the final day of the BC Senior Men's amateur championship. Some really good golf being played (not so much by me lol) but currently 2 guys at 2 under par after day 2.

I am currently 10 over and sitting in 38th. my rounds have been 79, 73, so need to go low today to try and back door a top 20.

Anyway have a great day everyone, hit them long and straight...

... Is it morning yet? For those contemplating a career in glamorous Showbiz or have kids thinking about it, I just wrapped up my shoot last night. It takes an hour for makeup and hair because they need to color match previous infomercials/commercials. After an easy 6 hr day for prep on Monday, I started at 5:45a Tuesday and finished at 7:45p. Pretty tired after 14 hours so crashed early. Wednesday started at 5:45a and wrapped up at 5:30p. I went back to my hotel and took a shower washing off the makeup and shampooed twice to get the dye out of my hair. Ready for a meal at a really nice restaurant with the clients rewarding me for 2 long days and still wet, I get a phone call from the Producer that some wording changes had to be made and could I come right back to the set?

... So back I went, another hour for makeup and hair coloring and because matching editing would be difficult we had to shoot large sections again. We finally wrapped at 11:15p and for those keeping track, that is a 17 1/2 day where the last take has to be just as fresh, both physically and mentally as the first take. Kinda like taking an SAT/ACT test for almost 18 hours while looking your best. Including transportation to and from the set I worked 33 1/2 hours out of 48 and 31 1/2 hours in front of the camera. By far the most challenging two days of my 42 years in showbiz.

... As always I am not complaining and thankful for the work, love the people I work with and for, and I am paid very well. I know too many work in stressful environments, poor working conditions with unpleasant co workers and bosses for far less pay than they deserve or even worse they can't find a job. But these two days would have been tough for a 22yr old and I am glad to be sipping some coffee and flying home to Phoenix and 115* temps today. 🤪

I’ve done some “Extra” work on a couple different shows. Those were long days of waiting around and not getting paid much. I didn’t it for the experience. Had one close encounter with Rebecca Romain. Stunning lady and taller than you'd think.

Enjoy the time off, get some golf in after good and sleep.
