Popular Post ejgaudette
Good morning all! A nice weather day here finally, starting a bit cold, but unfortunately yard is still soupy and muddy. Going to need to get a turf grass degree here to get some grass growing to stop things getting this bad in the spring. That and some extra drainage might be in order. Thankfully its a Friday and the family and I are on a little vacation next week which will be great. Hopefully we get a bit of snow up north for cross country skiing. Right now that is the prediction. But that’s work for ya. On today’s episode of work, everyone is excited for it to be Friday. Except me, we have a really long day today with ranges and then the reservists are going to learn what cleaning weapons is all about. Haha. They won’t be happy because most come out from other locations and it’s “5 o’clock happy hour we got to get to”. They won’t be doing that this evening. There’s reasons why, the main being that the command that owns the armory will be closed on the weekend, and I’m not going to ask them to take away their ability to have a weekend where they have to come in. Not just so my reservists can clean. Never realized how hard it was being one of very few active duty people at a reserve command. Hahaha. Popular Post MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, It’s a lovely crisp spring morning in CNY. Sunny, clear skies and frost on the ground. The fostering is going well. This sweet pup though has a cut on the tip of her tail. When we let her out of her crate in the morning she gets her tail going at about 1000 mph. It then wacks into EVERYTHING and turns into a blood sprinkler. She doesn’t seem to notice and is the happiest thing going. It’s bandaged up and is really good about leaving it alone. One of the local courses emailed that it’s close to opening up. It just needs the course to dry out a bit more. Golf is in the air! Wishing all a wonderful day! I legitimately question why they request training for the operators, when the management staff is the primary problem with how things are run. The operators by now know how the equipment should be run, but obviously they are going to do what their boss says to do. Also, after four different downtime events at a single plant adding up to around 20 hours of downtime, I want to slap this sticker onto every single surface I can find around the plant. Maybe on the inside of safety glasses as well just to make sure they don't miss it. This is mainly due to the frustration of a client that refused to wait the 45 minutes for the repair to cool and set properly, so they started up the equipment and immediately not only ripped the original repair, but broke the belt in a second place. Not just once, but twice. What's the quote? Do it right or do it twice? In this case, let's make it thrice? I'm not making bitter grumble sounds at all over here. Another viable option... Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! Rolled out of bed a while ago and looked out the front door window to a wet patio. Wasn't supposed to rain again. So now I am waiting for the golf course condition line to be updated. Most likely cart path only, and after yesterdays blustery rain out half way through the second day of the men's club tournament, could turn the day into a glacial pace. Hope I can start as well as I did yesterday. 1 over after 7 holes. That round was officially canceled last night. Going to be a nice day though, temps in the high 60's, and will touch 80 by Sunday. Tomorrow testing begins again on the A&M 9000. I expect, again, the very good results. If so I will be doing a lot more strategically placed IPads for impactful video footage . Popular Post GolfSpy_KFT
Good morning fellow spies and TGIF! Last day of work and it should be a short-ish one before my 9 day break from work begins! Kids are feeling better, which is a great relief as it would be really hard to leave for our trip if they were sick and not feeling well. We will head down to Milwaukee Sunday late afternoon/early evening and then fly out of the airport there at 6:15 am for Mexico! I really like the MKE airport as it is smaller by a large margin than O'Hare in Chicago and just less hustle and bustle. Direct flight as well which is fantastic. I have been holding off on watching Oppenheimer for the flight, so my in air entertainment is set as well. We will be in Cancun Monday - Saturday, flying out mid morning that day and getting back to Wisconsin mid afternoon. Weather looks FANTASTIC currently as well, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Back home weather will be nice, too, which will be good for the grandparents with being able to do things outdoors with the boys while we are gone after school. Hope everyone has a great day today!
