Way too much information for me; I don’t need or want to know all that data. Seems that my path at contact was slightly closed but face is slightly open and consistency is poor. I haven’t been doing much practice lately because of my back pain and weather; so I might improve that… however, They added 1º loft to my putter, now 4º and then I made 6 of 7 putts with the other hanging on the edge. Yesterday was the first time on the course with it and I had good speed, just missed a couple and made a 12 footer for birdie. The ball seems to roll a little more effortlessly. My other Ping putter which is 4 inches longer, was adjusted to the same lie angle 72º with 0º loft. Haven’t tried it yet; don’t have a good feel for how to hold the putter in reverse armlock. Popular Post Kenny B
Good Morning everyone! Getting ready to head to the course; tee time at 7:50am. Temp is 44º but no rain in the forecast, maybe a sprinkle. The bad news is that it won’t get to 50º by the time we finish. At my age I like it a LOT warmer than that!! Found out that the course is closing at 2pm today through Tuesday for aeration; greens fairways and tee boxes. So, preferred lies in the fairways for the next week of so and poor putting for the next 6 weeks… they don’t put enough sand on the greens; the wind blows the sand off; and the irrigation washes it in the plug holes. They don’t add more sand, so it gets bumpy… and they were running nice and fast, just the way I like it!! Have a super Sunday and if you are able to play… Play Well!! Popular Post Erin B
Good Morning MGS Troops! Sundays are always good! Hope everyone is feeling great, bright eyed, and bushy tailed! Had a pretty good round yesterday. Would have liked to play more but…. It was more of a practice round than anything else, although my buddy and I played straight up. I was working on things I learned from my fitting so while I played well, I still had some quirky shots. Hit one out of bounds which cost me a double. But recovered with a birdie on a 200 yard par 3. The Newton shaft is really growing on me. I am choking up on it, will get it trimmed eventually but I’m still tinkering. I have hit a few right with it, but that’s probably because I’m working on my AOA and the fitter said that will happen until I’m dialed in. Of course I was asked this^! It’s ok though, the spousal unit understands. She’s a great lady! Hope your day is full of blessings and good vibes! Happy Birdie Hunting!!! Popular Post GolfSpy_KFT
“Good” morning fellow spies! I use that word lightly, again, as most of the snow had melted off yesterday and a couple more inches came overnight . Mother Nature is a cruel mistress. Lazy Sunday on deck after a trip to Madison yesterday to get our oldest some gear for baseball. My goodness that stuff is expensive! His noggin, as expected, is too big for the youth AND junior helmets lol so adult (and more expensive) it is. An Under Armour one fit the best, so will be ordering it online to take advantage of the 40% discount I can get for medical workers. Picked up a tee while we were there to hit balls into the golf net, and started working on catching and throwing yesterday. My wife snapped a picture that was a mirror image of what my dad and I used to do. As a former baseball player, this was a very proud dad moment. snoopy79, Cfhandyman, William P and 15 others 7 2 9 Quote Driver: TSi3 9* Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6X Fairways: Aerojet Max 3W & 7W MCA Kai'Li White 60 Stiff Hybrid: King TEC 3H MCA MMT 85g Stiff Irons: Aerojet 6-GW KBS $-taper Lite Stiff Wedges: Snakebite Black 52/56/60 Hi-Rev 2.0 Black Stiff Putter: Super Select Newport 2.0 Ball: Tour X & ProV1x #LeftyGang Cobra 50th Anniversary Member Special Challenge (link here) Unofficial FootJoy Hyperflex BOA 2023 Review Unofficial Flightscope Mevo Review

It is more about working with someone that tells you what is going on and what you should do to improve. Hopefully the loft adjustment helps some. I am wondering if you will have to go even lower on the loft when you go reverse armlock; unless the shaft has been bent to lean backwards as well. Hit the bathroom and looked at my phone. 38 degrees Back to bed… Just two days ago it was shorts weather. Looks like an afternoon round is in my plans for today. At least I’m up, showered, and dressed to golf. The rain the last two days should have cleared out the pollen some. Friday my shoes, socks, and up to my calves were a bright shade of a yellowish green. My Motocaddy was a camo pattern with yellow, gray, and black colors. MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, It's a cold sunny day in CNY. Ran errands this morning. Not much on the agenda for today. My bracket still has the two finals teams. So, I got that going for me, which is nice. SWMBO is volunteering at the SPCA this morning. I will hit the indoor range this week. Oh, I will be calling my PXG fitter to order my driver tomorrow. Wasn't really in any hurry to order it. Snow does that to a fella. LOL Not gonna lie, I am looking forward to Opening Day on Thursday. I have fond memories from high school. I went to a Catholic high school in San Francisco. Easter break would coincide with Opening Day. School would get out and a bunch of us would hop on Muni and head to the Stick. Buy tickets for the bleachers in left field. This was way before baseball tickets became ridiculously expensive. Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! Late posting this morning as my Cox internet was so bad I could hardly read anything much less post. Thanks Rob, my wife is much better now. Typical Cox internet wont even bring up the @ name box and fill it with a name. I can't blame it all on Cox. The services in this home owners association were put in in the late 70's early 80's and are in desperate need of upgrading... Got some great footage yesterday, 20 balls putted at 15'8" at a hole. 19 in and one lip out. Can you say repeatability?? I now have official permission to test other brands against the Maxfli Tour X with the A&M 9000, not sure I want to go spend 50 bucks on 3 ball sleeves of ProVs and TP5 pix's and what ever else sits next to the cash register at Coyote Run. I am sure I can scrounge around in my found ball bucket and find some, but the test would be true with brand new balls. Too windy for testing today anyway. cksurfdude, sirchunksalot, rkj427 and 8 others 11 Quote Driver Sim Max2 Hybrids G430 2, 3, 4 Irons ZX4 6-PW Wedges Hi-Toe 50, 54, 58 Putter 2Ball Ten ArmLock Golf cart MGI Zip Navigator

Popular Post ILMgolfnut
Good afternoon Spies! Got out in the garage and hit about 60 balls on my sim, trying to get used to the confined space. I did better at taking reasonably full swings, I think, but I'm not pleased with the info I was getting from the Garmin. 8-irons that felt pretty solid were being read as 65 yards, and 7 woods were being read as 95. I'm short, but not that short. GF suggested maybe the Garmin needed to be placed a little higher because I'm hitting off a fairly thick mat. Possible, and I found a box of golf balls to put under the Garmin, but it didn't seem to make much difference. Gonna have to brainstorm this one. Spent a good chunk of the afternoon watching the Valspar. I'd never heard of Peter Malnati until a couple of weeks ago, but you have to relate to the emotions he was feeling after winning for the first time in nine years or whatever it was. And he hit some awesome shots down the stretch. GF had forgotten I'm going to Scotland in July until I mentioned it this morning. She'll probably forget at least once more in the next three months. Popular Post ejgaudette
Good morning all! Well it was a long weekend that pushed us back into winter. We got 20 inches of snow, and some places near us got 26 while I think the high spot was about an hour away at 32 inches. So back to skiing we go for a bit. Still won't last too long given how long the days are now and how much stronger the sun light is. Got to see some friend yesterday and hangout with good conversation which is always a nice time. Back to work this morning for another usual week of work. Have a great Monday everyone! Popular Post ParFore74x
Good morning spies. It’s another back to grind Monday here and I am struggling to wake up. One of those mornings when I wish I was a coffee drinker. High School soccer season is supposed to start tonight but with the forecasted thunderstorms from 4-8pm I am going to say it is a no-go. It’s only a jamboree that includes several neighboring high schools, some if which are in different conferences. Just playing to get any nerves ready for the regular season which starts next Tuesday. Nothing too crazy going on otherwise. Have a great day spies. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
After spending Sunday..Embracing the “ Day of Rest” creed.. Preparing for a manic Monday of rip roaring old people stuff.. Nothing outrageous or even fun. Just another week of survival mode; which definitely beats the heck out of the alternative. @Josh Parker “ Happy Birthday “ .. Celebrate and enjoy!!! Heading into the Easter week, there is a still a multitude of the population recovering from or celebrating the first two rounds of March Madness… For those few that are still confused about what the heck the deal is with March Madness you are not alone…. May you all be the master of your Monday. Girldad18, EnderinAZ, Woodrow72 and 19 others
