My bud who plays in our Sunday 3 some and plays in the league too was up there live when you typed this. He is a big time Gamecock Booster. I do not keep up with any of it so I really do not have a dog in the fight so to speak. I did play in the big fundraiser a month or so ago as a last minute replacement. But like I told George my bud and @JohnSmalls it does not mean I am going to convert and become a fan. But as usual with me if that is someone's cup of tea so be it no problem for me

Good thing I cut the grass yesterday afternoon started raining after that and still raining this morning.  No golf today was going to be a little chip and putt but looks too wet.  
This part of FL is starting to have a Snowbird feel to it lots of traffic and grocery store busier than usual.  
Next week hope to get my 2nd opinion on hand/elbow and SWMBO has Doc appointment so busy week.

We are starting to get them here. Not many in the Shootout yesterday. Do not know how the 9 and Dine went. Really do not give 2 hoots because I do not play either anymore. But I heard it said that the Shootout was sold out for this coming Saturday so the Snowbirds must be coming in because most local members have shunned both for a variety of reasons I will not go into

Another great looking late Summer day here.  Daughter decided I'm a much cheaper option for an oil change, so that's on the agenda.

Got out for 9 yesterday, SwingU tracked my opening drive at 337.  But . . . that was from the clubhouse and not the tee.

@rkj427 @Michael.Sandoval33  PGA Superstore was very nice.  A lot of merchandise.
There was 1 instruction sim, 4 fitting sims and 9 Trackman bays ( priced very competitively!)
It's a bit of a hike for me, but I'll definitely consider renting Trackman time during the cold months (assuming the Orange Barrels ever go away.)
I'm onboard with fixing the damn roads, I would sure like them to stay fixed

I've been noticing some cars in my area painted Honolulu Blue.

No golf today rained out. I got up and did my usual routine went by Kroger and got my Yogurt and Protein pack. Rode on out to the course anyhow since I was up. One of my buds called and said he was not coming. My Gamecock bud lives around the corner and drove up. We sat on the patio under the umbrella and chatted and debated playing. Then we got the Member Text that the course was closed due to the rain. 

I may be off line tomorrow. Spectrum is supposed to come out and replace our modem. My wife read them the riot act Friday after a bunch of trouble the last few weeks. The customer service guy asked some pertinent questions. He looked it up the fact we had called like 5 times in the last 2 weeks. He asked the wife if any other rep had asked about our equipment? She told him no. It showed right there on his computer that our modem needed to be updated a couple of years ago. He said the other CSRs should have seen that. He was the supervisor and said there would be an arse chewing bright and early Monday morning IF those people were still working there. We are ending up with new equipment and 6 months free service. She was fixing to tell them where to shove it and go to another service. Come to find out our modem box is 10 years old. He was apologetic and both appalled that no one had said anything about our equipment being so outdated.

Heading over to a cousin's in a while to help set up for another cousin's 50th birthday party. The first cousin has three little kids so yeah there should be some fun play time mixed in there, too!

Good morning everyone!

The art show was a blast yesterday! It was a little smaller than I was expecting but it was cool to see some work from local, talented artists. My wife picked up a couple of prints and a sticker and I got a small watercolor of Darth Vader, it was a comic/pop culture themed show. My wife is considering participating next year and she should since she's very talented and works hard to hone her craft. 

@RickpI hope you can get your hand taken care of.

Good morning! Another early morning with beautiful weather. I'm definitely tired today, so I'm glad it's Sunday. Football and grad school on the agenda today. Trying to knock grad school out so I can relax and watch the games this afternoon. And who knows, maybe I try and sneak out for a little golf.

Good Sunday morning, Spies! Awoke yesterday to (a) a lot of rain and (b) sneezing my fool head off. Not quite sure if it is a cold or allergies. I still feel stuffed up but the overnight NyQuil has calmed the sneezing. Anyway, that combination kept me indoors Saturday. Watched Solheim Cup and a lot of football. Clear blue skies at my alma mater's game, which we won after falling behind by 14. Made me a little homesick. I was hoping to get back there for a game in November, but prices on all the ticket sites are more than I want to pay. If we lose a couple more games that may improve. 

Leaving on another work trip today, cold or no cold (and rain or no rain). Before then, will be following Solheim Cup and Arsenal-Tottenham soccer. COYG! This week's trip is three cities in four days. Weather outlook is not great but taking the clubs anyway. If nothing else, there's a range near my hotel in Charlotte (Monday night) with covered bays. Not too optimistic about my Packers* against the Colts with Jordan Love sidelined, but we shall see. Pretty sure it won't be on TV here anyway.

@Erin B congrats on the grandbaby! I've given up hope of ever having that joy. My son is asocial (and, I strongly suspect, a bit autistic) and I don't think that is going to change. His idea of a good time is playing games like World of Warcraft 

* -- My first memories of NFL football are the Lombardi-era Packers, plus my first football team was the Pee-Wee Packers, so I've been a fan for a long time. Bought a share of Packers stock about 10 years ago when one became available. I tell people I own as many shares of an NFL team as my fellow Arkansas alum, Jerry Jones. Only his share is worth about $10 billion and mine is worth zilch. Maybe some day I'll get to Lambeau Field.

Final round of the Canadian Men's Senior and Super Senior Amateur at Saugeen today, under way I bet, No BC players in the hunt but we have 1 or 2 that may make the top 10 with a  good round today, top 10 get's an automatic exemption into the event next year in Wolfville Nova Scotia...

Morning All,

The joys of having chickens is gathering the eggs for a good breakfast. What is not a joy is having a chicken fly into a pine tree while moving them to their run. 20 minutes later they were all in the run. Cleaning weapons today that we used yesterday for training and holding training for the people who need their EXW Qual. Hoping to be out by 12. It’s a long shot, but there is hope. No golf today, but I am looking at maybe getting a new 7 Wood. I struggle getting a 4 iron up high enough, but my 7 wood does wonderfully. I also don’t need to get a new one just yet. But if one is available at a good price, I may be inclined to trade my 7 wood in for it. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day.
