It's 3 central time. I did that same thing the first time I tried to join.

4:15 Central is 5:15Eastern, and call was ended. Same time as always, those around the country/world adjust their schedules accordingly.

 

Great call today with Gavin from ShotScope.

Very informative about their company and products.

With the price points they have established for their products, and the support from their customer support team, it will be interesting in seeing this company grow and succeed moving forward.

They come in at lower than the other major players retail for similar products, and stand behind them.

Great to see some new people join from the forum as well.

@sirchunksalot Jason, I had Jamie ask your question, it was the first one, and the call has been recorded.

Answer: There should be no update needed, it should change once you enter your information from the last hole finished.

Today's call was great;  always interesting when you have an opportunity to talk to people from the various OEMs.   I had stopped using shotscope but after the call pulled it out, installed the tags, and am charging the H4!   I'm still going to take a backup GPS, but nice to know Gavin will be looking into the No courses within 1K message.

This was my first time listening in. I was on my sales route so I missed bits and pieces but caught most of it. Really enjoyed listening, looking forward to seeing what all they add to the Shotscope platform.

Bummer to have missed this live, but just watched through - great questions, great answers. It's this part (Community Calls) of My Golf Spy that makes it just the best!!

Gavin at Shot Scope was cool, but then again I'm biased. All scots are cool!!

Big X5 user since launch and I wouldn't play without it.

Huh. I'll have to watch the replay. Right now ShotScope not on the top of my favorite golf products list...

To be fair,  I didn’t stop using because I didn’t like the product.   I stopped because I feel the stats were more detailed than I needed.  Probably still are, but I do miss looking at the data even though it confirms what I already know.

Great call yesterday.  Loved the Q&A.

Haven’t used Shot scope since I use Arccos and a Bushnell, but it’s definitely something I will have to consider when my Bushnell dies.  Arccos is great, but it’s not cheap.

Thanks Robert! I haven't had a chance to listen in yet and was wondering. I usually swipe to view map after doing pin collect since I've had a lot of next hole tee shots come on the green of the previous hole. I'm enjoying the Connex as long as I remember to scan my tags.

I just came across this thread. I didn't realize it was a regular Thursday thing. I guess I got lucky and was doing stuff on the forum when I saw the notification at the top about the call coming up. I was at work, but had some flexible time, so gave it a go  

My number one question for Shot Scope was about the subscription/no-subscription business model in conjunction with all the software they and competitors are working on and supporting. It's something that makes them fairly different. So it was great to hear something about that, and from a guy that has been with the company from the beginning too. It was also interesting to hear they only have 30 or so people in the company.

Arccos is basically out of consideration for me with the cost. My final choice when I was figuring this out last was Shot Scope and Golfshot app.

By the way, I also joined an hour late on my first attempted call, haha. Funny to hear about that from others. I knew it was late though, and I saw the time zone... it was just when I could get on due to work. I figured I'd check if it was still going. I think it was the Ping wedges one.

Another great call with a lot of interesting discussions, especially when the topic of graphite iron shafts came up.
