Love you boys! I enjoy your comments and thanks all of you for the thoughts and prayers for the spousal unit. Turns out I read the script wrong on the dosage for the antibiotics. I was giving her half the dose for the first day. She thinks I’m now trying to kill her so I’m A$$uming she’s feeling better. She’s asleep again and I checked her head. Sweaty which means fever is breaking. That and when she was awake she was bantering back and forth with one of our daughter’s friend; so in essence a pseudo daughter, about me trying to kill her. Yeah, she’s feeling better. All this is after I made her three ingredient GF pretzels. Wonder if she thought I poisoned them … @Dead Solid Bogey get better! Wanna meet sometime. Happy evening spies!

@Dead Solid Bogey prayers man for a quick and hopefully less painful recovery this round.  Let's just hope all the lady bosses in here domt ever plan a "coux" get together, erre i mean a retreat... yeah thats what i meant!

Glad to hear she's doing better. It's amazing what the proper dose can do!  Sleep with one eye open as payback is a b&#ch!

Clouds burned began to burn off by #5.

Played from one up from the tips and many of holes were short, under 400 yards, but the fairways were often quite narrow.

The par threes had modest sized greens and were tucked into some very scenic areas.

In all, it was a great first day of golf in Bandon. Shot a pedestrian 76 and got a pretty good feel for what I can expect for distance from all my clubs. On average I was about half a club shorter. This course, like Trails, is more inland so the wind didn't come too much into play. It was blowing hard today on the coast line with steady winds of 25-30 mph. Depending on when the big winds kick in, Bandon Dunes course could play wicked hard.

Great shots! I'm really missing the golf course these days. Unfortunately, I've been sidelined with a serious knee injury for over two months now. I'm planning to reach out to cypresswood golf club customer service to see if I can schedule a game for next week, especially since I'm starting to feel slightly better.

I really enjoyed the tournament and it was great fun in wonderful courses, just made so much harder with the weather conditions. I didn’t play my best but can’t complain. Hopefully I’ll do better at next years tournament as we are hosting it so would be nice to get a home win.

Well golf was interesting, fun, tiring, and pathetic…. Played the front 9 looking like I belonged on the golf course. Even the finicky 2.0 Edison Enforcers perform a tad bit.. Still No bite or spin but NO chucks or scalds. Made the turn and started to promptly run out of energy. The back 9 put the U in Ugly. Add the fact that I am not sure the shots of liquid  protein were any help and definitely not much fun to engage in…. There was NO power puking, so that was a win. Shot a  39/49.  
     Haven’t decided whether to give golf ago tomorrow or not.. I will probably wait until tomorrow to see how the energy level is. 
   Have a fun filled evening my fellow spies.

@Dead Solid Bogey cheer up, at least you’re playing. My spousal unit called me as I was parking at the course yesterday. Today she’s better, but still. She did have a temperature so justified, I suppose…

Spousal unit is getting nails done now. I’m still the chauffeur so I’m stuck. 

Playing with the kids tomorrow…maybe. Have a great evening spies!

You didn't have any energy and not feeling well and still out shoot me on a good day.. Maybe just try 10 or 11 tomorrow bud and build back to 18.. It'll come back to u!

Thank you… And thank all that is Holy..for senior tees. My distance loss was so severe on the back 9.. I contemplated using my 3W as a wedge.

 I am just trying to remember to be glad to be playing and trash talking.

Definitely gotta be careful. My last outing the older gents that were ahead of me were ripping darts and throwing them down the fairways too. I couldn't help but be fascinated.

@Dead Solid Bogey glad to see you were at least able to get out, and as mentioned, maybe taking it easier at first should be the key to building up stamina. 

@William P congrats. on the 1K posts, saw that in the Good Morning thread, but was out all day, so thought I would mention it here! Thanks for all your contributions, and a really accurate assessment you provided of the members here. 

Myself, spent most of today again at the air base working as a volunteer for their Air Show, which was free and open to the public.

It ended about 4:00PM, but it was a little after 6:00PM before we left after doing the clean-up and preparations for another day tomorrow.

I am not working there on Sunday and am hoping to get to the range in the late morning, then on the course later in the afternoon.

Best part about Oregon is no sales tax. Makes for a great experience for tourists.

Those are some beautiful pics and I'm glad you got to take this trip! I would love to be able to make that trek one day as the PNW offers so much as far as beautiful scenery.

Watching some great college baseball games all day today and am currently watching the Ducks win their must win game against A&M. Hope you all had a great day.

Wrapping up the weekend by watching a couple episodes of suits which is the show we are currently on. Was hoping to play better than I did yesterday but such is life. Hoping to get in some practice before my golf trip to Erin Hills at the end of the month.

Sadly, yes. I was really rooting for Clemson but it was a really good game.
