How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I’ve been playing since I was 10, but through college my primary sport was tennis. Once on my own in my first job golf became my obsession with no one else to play with and lots of sundown rounds. My handicap got to its lowest when I lived in TN and was able to play year round. Now with simulators I’m able to maintain a 6. 

What do you love about golf?

it’s a spiritual discipline filled with opportunities to shape performance through disciplined practice and still know that most of your good shots and good days are a gift. Nothing works the ego like golf.

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Love looking at new equipment and science of club manufacturing.

Where are you from? What is your home course? I live in SE Minnesota. Play municipal courses primarily, Eastwood Golf Course.

What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?

best Fall golf, worst Winter no golf

What do you do for a living? I’m a pastor so no Sunday morning golf  

How’d you pick your user name? Boring version of my name.

Hello,  I've been playing for approximately 2 years now but tore my hamstring last August so I wasn't able to play much from August- October.  I'm a 25 handicap with my scores ranging mainly from the upper 90s to low 100s. Best thing about golf for me is getting to spend time with my family and friends. 

 

I usually play at Newark country club in break in northern Delaware.

Driver: Gen 5 PXG 0311 XF

3 wood: PXG Black ops

Hybrid: 0311 Gen 5HX 19 Degree

Irons: PXG 0311 Gen 4XP 

Wedges: PXG 0311 3x forged wedges

Putter: odyssey white hot seven dB

If anyone is in the Delaware area and wants to play let me know.  I'm always open up meeting people.

I've been playing approx 15 years, best handicap is my current one of 14.5,  more practice and a lot of golf this year, hopefully will come down.   love the travel and social side of golf.

How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? - I believe I started going with my Dad and Grandfather when I was 10, so almost 20 years now. I was focused on other sports but I should have played in high school. I have gotten better the last couple years to get down to 10-12 HCP. Putting is the worst for me. Have broken 80 once, breaking 90 and having a good time is the goal.

What do you love about golf? - There are too many ways to answer this question. As a father of 4, its a fantastic break from reality, and also such a good time to have with friends/family. Lots of memories made on the golf course.

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? I love the hope of being a product tester. The ball test was a big factor for me. Used to play any ball and always would get Kirklands too, not anymore.

Where are you from? What is your home course? I like in the metro-Detroit area in Michigan. Tons of courses to choose from.

What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best is the amount of courses, ranging in price and get what you pay for. Worst is the cold weather of course.

What do you do for a living? I am a father of 4, and an electrical engineer for General Motors.
