2024 Ohio Spies Meetups

Hi all, there's plenty of us in Ohio and some new members so I wanted to create a new thread for this season to keep everyone in the loop on where the action is. I'll tag those of you I know are active, but please feel free to add anyone you're thinking of.

I’ll add @GolfSpy AFG, @ZoonORama, @brogies, & @RonnieB as known Ohio spies. 

I’ve played there a couple times and recall liking the layout, plus easy access to the highway makes it a fairly reasonable day trip from the south of the state. Depending on the date, I’ll try to make the trip, but bear in mind the Kingsmill Outing is the last weekend in May

I have played Deer Ridge a few times over the years. Always enjoyed the layout and terrain.

I can't make it to Mansfeld, but I'd love to host some spies at my course Country Club of The North near Dayton Ohio sometime!

I'll keep an eye on this thread, but May is highly unlikely for me. It would be asking too much to go in the same month I'm doing the national trip.

I’d love to play if you ever coordinate this. From Centerville but live in Cincinnati now. I’m up in Dayton often playing at Yankee Trace and Heatherwoode.

Hey All! New Member here located in Columbus area. Just started playing last summer, but I play  about 2-3 times a week and am swinging a club one way or another  when I don't play. Shoot around  mid 90s most round now, but feel like I am improving at a good speed. Down to meetup for some rounds if anyone is nearby!

Welcome! There are quite a few Columbus guys on here and I am one of the CLE spies. We are planning a meetup at Deer Ridge in Bellville on May 5th. If you are interested let us know.

I played Heatherwoode at a meet up a few years ago.  Was really a fun golf course.

Yep. Pretty tough course that they keep making tougher.

Ok so we are trying to go to Deer Ridge in Bellville (between Mansfield & Columbus) on May 5th. I'm pretty sure we have one 4some so far. I need to get a head count of anyone else interested because I'd like to set up tee times this week. I am thinking something late morning like 10:30-11 start as it'll probably still be cool out.

Yep, I was assuming you, @MaxEntropy and @Mr_Theoo were the first foursome. But anyone else in Cbus want to come up? Or anyone else in Ohio? Or any newer members from the CLE/AKR area that may be following along?
