I can double check in a bit to confirm, but I am almost positive it is a heavier cloth like material. It’s more substantial than other rain covers I’ve had but it is not the PU leather

looking forward to what they say though, would like to know what theirs are like that too. I wonder why it could be different.

No lining, just a somewhat canvas like material. Bag will very likely get a rain test this Sunday. If the forecast calls for too heavy of a rain I will either swap bags or cancel all together. Not much fun playing in a Midwest storm.

Had an update from Ghost about my bag and why it’s taking so long to arrive. It was due to ship on 10th but still hasn’t left Ghost as apparently there was a manufacturing defect with the embroidered pocket and it wouldn’t fit on the bag. As a result they are having to redo all the embroidery so I’m gonna have to keep waiting. I’m annoyed that it’s taking so long but it’s a plus that they identified the fault and it’s gonna be rectified so can’t really complain

The good news is when it does ship it will come quick! Mine was in LA one night and Zurich the next morning.

That does seems like an awful long time to wait for a new pocket pouch cover.  I’m glad that didn’t just send the bad embroidery also depressing it’s taken this long to get rectified. The arrival date will be that much sweeter when you finally get to unbox it.

Yeh I thought it was a long time too, especially as @ToastedSoul has received his and we ordered at the same time

Hang in there. I’ve had special orders get goofed before and then had to wait longer than expected. I know you love it once you get it. 
 

On a side note for everyone. I was looking for reviews or any info on the site about how well the bags stand up to getting wet. Haven’t seen a bad review and still parsing through some of the good ones. Will these be ok after getting wet? Assuming the rain cover indicates that can get wet but also assuming some TLC will be warranted afterward.

That’s a very good question. The exterior material is supple but seems easy to clean and durable enough. That being said, I will definitely be adding how cleanable and water proof the hood and zippers are to my testing.

Thanks @Al_Mack, you will not be disappointed with this bag. At least that is where I am currently through the testing process. I will be taking it out on course this weekend for a tournament where I should be able to get a ton more info. Stay tuned…

Thanks for posting.   Same as what I got.  It’s interesting that it is different than what comes with the other bags.  
 

I’m going to do some “rain” tests with mine.   My guess is that there shouldn’t be any negative impact if it gets wet…..at least I would hope there was not negative impact.

Has anyone ended up getting the cart strap sleeve? I am considering picking one up for my bag, I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm curious to see the wear on the bag after some rounds and how well it cleans up.

They were included with our testing order along with a couple of towels.   Shipped separately and from a different location than the bags.   Mine arrives via USPS today.

Maybe the Oreo is an older iteration of the bags.   Hood and side panels are definitely different than the other bags.   Not saying it is better or worse, just different.

We were sent a cart sleeve and towels by Ghost Golf. Mine our out for delivery today, so hopefully I’ll have an answer for you soon!

According to tracking my cart sleeve strap arrives today. I will post pics once it arrives. I am playing in a tournament these weekend and plan on using the strap. I will let you know how it goes.

I've got the cart strap and definitely think over time it will be a worthwhile investment. My bag jostles around quite a bit with the system we have on our golf cart since it isn't a normal two seat cart and I wouldn't want to be without the sleeve.

I also got a cart strap and glad I did. It will definitely be worth the cost. One could also look at seat belt straps with the fuzzy "wool like" outer cover to protect the bag from wear and tear.

The putter pins are interesting especially with many people having superstroke grips or shot tracking devices in the putter grip.   Overall high quality.

I did find this a little confusing   The bag shows a machine for easy to wash.  The tag in the bag says to hand wash.   Seems conflicting to me??

If you are in need of a cart strap, look for seat belt shoulder strap covers!

I thought the same thing about the putter pins. I use Arccos Which completely removes me from being able to use them. That being said, the quality is really good.
