Hi GolfSpy_BEN,

My score, currently in Pos 1 should really not be there.  The score was for 9 holes only which puts me at the top in the ranking on Gross Score, which is unfair. (I presume some of the other scores may also be for 9 holes only).

Questions:

  1. May we load scores for 9 holes only?
  2. If "Yes", will the system compensate for the 9-hole score?
  3. I did read in previous posts that two 9-hole scores may be combined.  Would that be a preference for the system?

Really solid front nine but couldnt close it out going +7 over the last 4 holes.  Started on 17.  
First 18 hole round with the GT so 11/14 fairways is a good start!

A fine day.  Had a bit of a struggle on the back nine but didn't suffer as much as I thought I had.  Finishing with a birdie doesn't hurt.  All of this and I pulled out my driver for all of the long holes and wasn't punished too bad, even though only half of the drives went anywhere close to where I planned.  #6 was the worst of it, slicing across the other side of #5 for a long recovery, but managed to still not do so bad.  A lot less red on this card.  9 on a par three is kinda embarrassing, but keeping my putts in the low 30's is reassuring.

Answers:

1. Yes, you may load 9 hole only scores. 

2. The leaderboard is not indicative of the scoring for the season. It's primary purpose is to get all the info I need, for the spreadsheet that keeps track of the scoring, in one place. The hierarchy of scores is/would be 18 hole rounds on full courses i.e par 72 , 18 hole rounds on short courses i.e. par 60, 9 hole rounds

3. 9 hole rounds may be combined with a couple of provisions: That the combined score be a front round and a back round and that you indicate that is the intention when posting the scores.

No lost balls and no penalties were huge wins for me. Looked at a couple of birdies but those putts wouldn't fall. I did snake a few 15-20 footers for par.
