If you're someone who swings hard but doesn't wanna have to swing out of their shoes to keep up with a shaft; this one is for you. I can run upwards of 120 swing speed if I have just the right stretch in the morning, but a nice smooth swing keeps me in the 110s. This shaft is the perfect blend of a very stiff butt section reminiscent of the Ventus Black, but still some kick towards the tip that feels controlled and doesn't feel like a piece of plywood. If you're someone who is worried about the Ventus Black or Black TR making you feel like you have to muscle up max effort on every swing just to keep up, the Blue TR would be perfect for you. I switched from a Project X HZRDUS PVD Green Smoke and my dispersion has grown slightly tighter. I'd recommend this shaft to anyone who swings 105 to 115+ and wants a stiffer shaft that still has some control in the tip. I've been eyeing the Ventus TR shafts and have wanted to give them a try. I hate that you just described everything that I want lol cksurfdude, IndyBonzo and Jwalt023 3 Quote Link to What's in My Bag Post - G430 Max - LTDx 3 Wood - Mavrik 4 & 5 hybrids - Pro 225 Irons - SM9 50, 54, 58 degree - Teryllium Longneck Newport 2 / - Jailbird 380 / Hudson Made Carman Custom Nick_D's Putter Projects - RB Tour X Ball Link to BirdieBall 2-in-1 Putting/Hitting Mat 2023 Forum Review

CSiders12
I just ordered two training aids that I am really excited about. The first thing is the lag shot bundle with a sand wedge, 7 iron, and a driver. I am sure that 99% of you have seen ads and marketing for this, so I looked into it and did my homework. I have watched multiple videos and read articles about it and it all sounds promising. I am really looking forward to creating a repeatable swing with a better tempo! I also just bought the Tour Aim 2.0 which helps with swing plane, putting, alignment, and more. My playing partner bought one a few months ago and really liked it. I love working with alignment aids but haven't had luck with ones that can help swing plane while indoors. If you haven't seen or heard about it, I have attached the link here: https://touraimgolf.com/products/tour-aim-2-0 I am really looking forward to seeing how these can improve my golf. My swing feels okay with shorter clubs but needs more consistency as the clubs lengthen. My swing with longer clubs becomes non-repeatable which causes too much dispersion in shots. IndyBonzo
My primary golfing buddy is always getting on me about my habitual tinkering with clubs. EXCEPT when it comes to putters, which is the location of his terrible CHA affliction. Scotty Camerons and super-expensive shafts galore, special markings/engravings/colors/voodoo spells . . . you name it. Anyway, he's been on me to try a glam Tiffany's-Hermes joint venture shaft in my putter. I have resisted. But then . . . After reading a ton about graphite putter shafts, perusing threads in this and other forums (fora?) about the obviously incredible/non-existent and tangible/placebo benefits, I started to wonder what the graphite putter shaft Cristal-flavored Kool-Aid tasted like. I trundled off to GG and PGATSS to try all manner of putter shafts: StrokeLab, Accra, LA Golf, BGT Stability, KBS, etc. I even went online looking for the mythical TPT putter shaft, which apparently is hiding somewhere at The Gates Foundation Unicorn and Yeti Preserve with all my favorite Elmer T. Lee and Rock Hill Farm bourbon. (I'm not bitter, you are.) None of the different putter heads at the stores seemed materially better than my husky and trusty lead-weighted Ping G Shea. But yeah ... those graphite stability shafts felt really good, especially the most expensive ones. I had caviar dreams. Then I stumbled onto various sites citing sightings of the UST Mamiya All In graphite shaft. And then I went to the PGATSS and hit some of the (very nice!) Cleveland Soft-Milled putters built with the All In shaft. I fell in love with it, and the price. Some might say I went . . . nah, too easy. This is a cheeky way of saying I bought a new Ford Taurus. The UST Mamiya All In Retrofit, which is the model to fit my Ping, is on its way for the low low price of $95 shipped (plus $10 for digital calipers at Harbor Freight for the assembly). I grip mine in the laundry room ver the utility sink. When she walks in there after I have done some regrouping she complains about the smell. Cleveland Soft-Milled putters built with the All In shaft. I fell in love with it, and the price I recently got a HB Soft-Milled #8p and I am really liking it. Took me a short time on the putting green to get used to the shaft change and feel of the face compared to my Odyssey OG White Hot, but once out on the course it felt great. (I'm not bitter, you are.) I’ve been going down the rabbit hole for a while. Definitely intriguing but I really want to do a side by side comparison with some type of tech to see if it improves my face and distance control. I’ve tried the stroke lab, LA Golf, all in, PXG, Accra, original stability, and stability tour and their is definitely a different feel just don’t know if it is better. Then you get down to choosing…but what about a diamana, Fujikura, mmt, steelfiber, graphite design, or some other shaft. To many choices and not a really efficient way to test them side by side so it is really just a guessing game. cksurfdude, IndyBonzo and GolfSpy_BEN 3 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
Popular Post Golf2Much
In searching for something to get the golfing friend who has everything, I went a little "old school" and nostalgic purchasing a yardage book for his home course and a leather yardage book holder. I took advantage of my Club OnCore membership and got a discount on the Putt View yardage book. On eBay, I found a very reasonably priced real handstitched leather yardage book cover from donfanooch2013 with an embroidered logo of his dog that passed Marley Abigail. Together, I think they make a great gift. I'm not sure how much he'll actually use it, but he will impress his friends, look like a better golfer than he really is by flashing it on the course and certainly it will be a nice keepsake. I liked the combination so much, I bought a set for myself! Popular Post Golf2Much
@Scott Lyons, nice addition. I'm envious! Like @tony@CIC, I wish I had the space. Here in Key West, we typically do not have garages (the few we did have in town have been turned into studio apartments and rent for $3K/month) or certainly basements. So, I had to make myself a portable griping station that was easy to break down and store outside in my little shed. Not as fancy, but functional.
