Popular Post Tom the Golf Nut
I got my old clubs re-shafted to my specs. Picked them up yesterday but got home too late to try them out. Of course it rained all day today. But always thinking about golf I made a floating green for the pool today. I took an old kids snow saucer, some left over puzzle piece foam flooring, green felt. And an old golf cup. A bunch of trimming and spray adhesive and done. Just need a small flag used on putting greens. Then some foam or plastic balls with some Velcro on them in spots. Should be fun this summer. RichL85
I will preface this by saying that I'm not actively looking for a new job, but I'm also not immune to keeping my options open so to speak if the right opportunity were to come around. I will field conversations from recruiters and such if there are interesting positions. However, am I being unreasonable when I am annoyed by the most recent recruiter? They initially contacted me in early December with a position that would have required a relocation across the country and a decrease in pay. I responded that the salary listed seemed low for the position and it would be difficult to justify a relocation in this situation. At this point, said recruiter went completely radio silent and did not respond. Sure enough, two days ago, the same recruiter reaches out with the same position and a complete disregard for my previous response. No response to my concerns, not even an acknowledgment that they had previously contacted me at all, much less about the exact position in question. These are the type of recruiters I see complaining about being ghosted on social media. sirchunksalot
After the community call this evening I came downstairs to my wife prepping food in the kitchen. We're looking out the window at our neighbor who's on her phone and staring at the sky. My wife gets curious and decided to go outside and see what was happening. She was out there a couple of minutes when the curiosity got the best of me and I peeked out and ask her if there's something up there. She proceeded to tell me it was a huge flick of birds and that one of them pooped on her head. Guess who go to clean it up? Also, congratulations @tony@CIC!
